I ended up leaving the middle gates out of the assembly so they can move back and forth into the three crates, or separate while we're gone. This was easy to construct , great instructions, very well written. The crate is a beautiful piece of furniture in my living room. I wasn’t thrilled about the latching system though. I’m actually going to add an additional latch to outside. I thought the inside latches were a bit unsafe for my dog. This would not stop me from buying or recommending this product. Love it! It looks pleasing to the eye, the mesh makes me feel more at ease knowing his head won’t get stuck like it does with bars, spacious and comfy. He sleeps well and cozy in it. Love the safety locks for inside and out too.

Overall I'm happy with this purchase. It is very heavy, and assembly was frustrating. The only real con is the bed that comes with it. It was super soft, really nice, but has no removable cover and is not machine washable. I ended up throwing it away and placed a regular dog bed inside.

Purchased two of these for 2 standard poodles both of my dogs love it. Will probably reinforce the sides as I can see it potentially ripping if my dogs lay on it, it may tear. It took about one and a half hour to but up both crates. easy install instructions are clear and easy to follow. For the price it’s worth it , and looks nice. ... show more

this is a wonderful crate, my pup is a shiba and very strong willed, he did not like being locked into a cage at night, I tried to make it a home for him but he just did not take to it. Too bad, it really is very nice, I guress some dogs are OK with it and others not so much. I don't know how you can test for it but it is not the fault if the manufacturer, guess some dogs just won't accept it. ... show more

The veneer on the dog cage easily pulled off inside, my dog ingested glue and particles. Do not buy this expensive, heavy useless piece. Marks for screws are not aligned correctly. Missing parts were the sliding bolts for doors. I made three trips to major hardware stores and could not attach hardware I bought from each store. I order a lot of products from Amazon but I’m changing. I’m elderly and when someone finally helped me we were in shock at the confused instructions. It’s a pile of junk in my living room and I Will not ever try a purchase like this again. Don’t purchase this for assembly issues , time you need to work with all issues. Tiring to go to Lowe’s and stores similar and try to tell clerk what you need to replace parts not sent. I was excited to share what I had purchased with others but now I have told them DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Piece of junk and unusable. As an elderly person I do not have resources to buy a product that is not usable and I’ll have to hire someone to remove from my home and trash this dog furniture. ... show more
