My husband put it together fairly easily without being angry about any parts. There is just one hang up , on one of the doors the lack does not line up properly and it has to be forced a little to close. However over all I love the crate for my dog. Let’s start with the answers to the questions we still had before we bought it: * Weathered Gray is the perfect blend of warm and cool tones… it does not look like that bleached oak from the 80’s. It looks beautiful next to our French Oak floors and still coordinates well with our grey cabinets. * The floor of the crate is the same material as the top. And the plastic coated parts go outside the crate to protect your floors from the crate (not sure why the home video had them inside the crate. * The side panels are not reversible, but you can choose at which end to put the end door It is sturdier than I feared. We bought this to replace a folding cloth/mesh crate and it is way more stable and sturdy. For those previous viewers disappointed that your dog chewed on it or broke open the door… that’s a training issue and not a crate issue. I’ve been in the dog fancy for over 20 years and have had chewers and escape artists in the past. Get a metal crate if you have one of those. This is an IDEAL crate for a well mannered dog. That being said, if you feed /water your dog in the crate or if your dog is incontinent, choose a crate that offers a pan. It was EASY and FAST to build compared to other self build projects.

I didn't want a yucky looking cage crate so this was a wonderful peace. My puppy loves it. We put his cushion bed on the already cushy flooring. I like how it can open on either side. The instructions needed to be clearer as far as which wall went where but it was super easy to undo and redo

Was so glad to replace our standard metal crate with something that actually looks good in the room. Our petite female boxer, approx 50lbs, goes right in and sometimes lingers inside after opening the door in the morning. She even occasionally goes in during the day just to nap. We love the ability to open the doors on different sides and that it has a hard usable top that you can set things upon without toppling over.
