Really surprised this has a rating of True to Size. I am a junior's size 1 and I had to send back the 1 to buy a 0. It's so stretchy that the 0 isn't flush and could still do for a belt with certain shirts. I have a long pelvis? I guess? These don't pull quite as tight in the crotch as other shorts I've been trying on recently. It's more of a problem with junior's styles than women's, but in my size not a lot of women's brands have options. I like these because they are modest without being too utilitarian. Junior's shorts are often shortie length and I was personally never a fan of having my butt cheeks hang out the bottom of my bottoms. 5 inch is a pretty ideal length, I don't mind the idea of longer shorts I just think they don't look good on me. These fit well and are super comfy! The length is “just right”. Love the style! Look good on. They do loosen a bit throughout the day but most do with any kind of stretch in the material. I think these work well for both younger folks as well as more mature. Moderate but not stodgy! Great find!

I had similar shorts (same brand and color, different inseam) and loved them. Now I’m a little older and wider. I got them in the same grey color and the length is great. I don’t have to constantly pull them down to keep my legs from rubbing. Per the reviews, I did size down and it was a good call. The size I normally wear would’ve fallen right off even right out of the dryer. Definitely size down one size. I’m going to look for more colors! ... show more

I love the style and these have been very durable, but they've stretched out a lot. I've worn this in a blue pair and a grey pair nearly every day last summer and this summer and now they're too baggy to wear, even after washing them. I might try to shrink them.

I'm 5'4", 127 lbs, I normally wear a size 5 and had to get a size 7. Once I got the correct size the fit was great! The length is just right, fabric has a little stretch, no cuffs, no rips. I highly recommend and will buy more pairs.

So first, I am not sure which size shorts I am writing this review on, so I will write it for both sizes. I am 5' 1", 170lb, muscular/boxy build, 36D. I have these shorts from a few years ago in a juniors size 13, with the 3 inch inseam. They had no stretch and I LOVE them...I have worn them for probably 3 summers now. I am usually a size 8 in jeans...but juniors run tiny (IMO). I initially ordered these in a size 13...but they have a TON of stretch. I sent them back for a size 11 and they fit good enough. Enough stretch in them that I really feel I could have gone down to a size 9. These are the 5 inch, which I got for a little more coverage and I like the length and fit. The 3 inch are definitely more flattering on me (and I did get them in white). I have muscular thighs and I do not have a thigh gap (all the rage - vomit) so these have started to pill up between my thighs from rubbing when I walk. This is after only about 3-4 wears. So...that is a bummer. If you have thicker thighs, you know what I am talking about. I ordered the vintage blue...so maybe it is just this color that does it? Not sure. My others with no stretch in the gray/blue color never did this. ... show more
