Accidentally bought a Brazilian corded car charger for use in the US. This adapter hasn't let it slip out once in over a year of maybe 6 or 7 uses, even in new tight US plugs, so much so that I forgot it wasn't made for that. Many other adapters don't allow for grounding devices properly, so this one is great. Just a note, the charger states 100-240V as suitable input, so I didn't have to worry about the slightly lower voltage than it expects.
