This is a nice canopy but not one you can put together and up by yourself. I took the challenge to do this myself and boy was it a JOB. Yes I can be done just have to bite your tongue from letting those 4 letter words fly. I recently set this up for some shade and wind block on the Oregon coast. Well built shelter and tons of room. If it's windy you are going to need an extra set of hands or it's like wrestling a gorilla. The strap on the carry bag ripped off about 20 yards from the truck. Plan on getting a sturdier carry bag. I had an extra army canvas duffel bag which works great and then you don't have to fight trying to get it back in the zippered bag which is almost impossible. This tent is great. A little work the first time you put it together just while you figure out where everything goes, but super easy after you’ve done it once! We also really loved the removable side flaps. We put them up at the beach and they blocked the sun while making the busy beach feel more private. Yes it was after the 30 days refund, we didn't try to use it until vacation and it was missing pieces and a nightmare to try and put together. The media could not be loaded. This is the second of these we have bought to go over our above ground pool. The first one was demolished by Hurricane Milton. But it took an absolute battering and kept on standing, only finally breaking a pole when the true Hurricane force winds arrived. I read the reviews that say it doesn't hold up to wind - but our experience was the opposite, it survived Hurricane Helene and almost made it through Hurricane Milton alive. We were so impressed we bought another one. My only complaint is that the dimensions on the description are totally wrong. The size of each wall opening is 8ft at the base (not 12 as in the picture). It fits over our 12ft pool fine, but the sides do stick out a bit. But with the way the tent is constructed the water from the roof is channeled down the legs and not into the pool, so keeps it mostly clean of debris from the trees above. Here's hoping our new one doesn't get Hurricane tested this year... ... show more

We bought this for the florida sun for beach days and camping to get out of the sun. My husband assembled it in the back yard where it stayed for two weeks as we tested its wind worthyness and rain proof and sun proofing. All I can say is that this product exceeded all expectations and I now require a gazebo in the back yard. It went thru Florida deluges or rain and wind and stayed in place did not bend or break. It is cool to sit under in the sun and a 6"2 adult can stand under it easily. ... show more
