  • Thankful
Easy to install. The tap water is warm within a second, which gives enough time to adjust but not feel cold. My Raynaud's fingers are ever so grateful for warm water on demand! The only surprise is the constant light under the sink from the LED display. Not a bother for me, and I'm very light sensitive, but good to know. The cabinet door keeps the light contained just fine. ... show more

  • Instant Hot Water!
We have a whole-home tankless electric water heater in our garage which works well, but the distance between the garage and our bedroom bathroom is very long. For some reason, the hot water pipe also goes upstairs before coming back down to the bathroom to make the distance even longer. This means that it can take three minutes for hot water to make it from the water heater to the tap, and the water heater consumes a LOT of power while it’s running. Too much energy is wasted to run the tap long enough to get hot water when you just want to wash your hands. I looked into one of these before, but I was looking at on-demand water heaters and I could only find 240V versions. I didn’t want to imagine the expense of running 240V to my sinks. I was offered the chance to try this one out, so I gave it a shot - and I was very pleased. The installation was easy for the most part. I disconnected my hot water line from the wall and connected it to the inlet to this heater, then ran the heater outlet to the sink. I was able to use one of the included hoses to connect the heater from the wall valve, but I needed to make a trip to the hardware store to get a hose to go from the heater to the sink because it had a different sized connector. I used the included Teflon tape to wrap the threads before connecting everything up, but I needed to remove the pressure relief valve and re-wrap it with more tape because it had a slow leak after tightening it. After adding the additional tape, the leak stopped and I was able to get it about 1/8 further turn at full tightness and the leak stopped. After installing it and running water through it to make sure that it was all filled up, I plugged it in. The water heated very quickly, about two degrees every 30 seconds or so. The display shows you the current temperature, but it doesn’t show the set point. You just have to turn the knob and watch the temperature to get to the setting that you want. The red light turns on when it is heating water and the green light turns on when the heating stops. I started low, then nudged the dial up until it turned green at the temperature I wanted. I originally set it to 120°, which is what my main water heater is set at, but that was way too hot. I ended up setting it to stop heating at around 105°. There seems to be around 5° of hysteresis in the heater, so it turns back on when the water temperature drops to 100° and stops heating at 105°. If you want REALLY hot water, this can certainly do the job. While testing it out I was using an extension cord, but the power draw on this is right around the maximum load for a typical 120V 15A receptacle. The extension cord started getting hot very quickly, so this really needs a dedicated receptacle so you can plug the rather short cord directly in. Fortunately for me, there was a receptacle above the spot where the heater is, so it was easy to drop a line and add a new receptacle inside the cabinet to plug in. I still have the problem that all of my bathroom receptacles run on a single 20A circuit breaker, so we have to be careful using other things because if the water heater turns on, it could trip the circuit breaker. If a clothes iron, hair dryer, or some other high-current devices are used, we need to remember to unplug the water heater or to turn the dial down so that it can’t turn on while we use the other device. It is so nice to have instant hot water when you turn the tap on. As soon as the cold water that is in the hose between the heater and the faucet is flushed out, which takes only a second, the water comes out nice and hot. I was afraid that the water temperature would drop quickly as new cold water flowed in before the “real” hot water got the new heater, but that doesn’t seem to happen. The water stays nice and hot the entire time the tap is open. I kept an eye on the power consumption. For the first few hours it was turning on fairly often as the water temperature cycled up and down inside the tank, but by the next morning, I think the whole thing stabilized at temperature. Now it only turns on once every couple of hours if water isn’t being used, and when it does, it’s only on for a couple of minutes. It’s an extra electrical load that wasn’t there before, but it should actually save electricity because running a 1,500W load for a few minutes a day is more efficient than running a 24,000 on-demand heater for three minutes before hot water even starts to flow out of the tap every time someone needs to wash their hands. I’m very satisfied with this water heater. It was easy to install and it works extremely well. I will be slowly adding these to other sinks in the home, and my next target is the kitchen sink. ... show more

  • Super great having hot water!
It’s pretty great having hot water at the kitchen sink! Our big heater is on the other side of the house and it took over 2 minutes to get hot water before - now with this under the sink less than 1 second! Also, our dishwasher gets instant hot water for the first cycle. Very easy to install, just had to get a few connectors at the local hardware store and put in a slightly beefier circuit breaker because in our kitchen it shares one with our dishwasher and garbage disposal. However, the design is such that the water begins cooling very quickly as the tank refills - so it starts really hot but then cools maybe 10-15 degrees after about 10 seconds, but then gives that temp water for a minute or two. We hooked it up to our hot water supply, so by the time it really cools down, we are getting hot water again from the big water heater. ... show more

  • Great Quality
My husband is a plumber and had no issues installing this. It is compact in size and easy to hide away. The LCD display makes it easy to quickly read the set temperature. It delivers hot water almost instantly upon turning on the faucet. It also has overheat protection and pressure release button. We've had no issues with leaks. Overall it is a great value for the performance. ... show more

  • Excellent water heater
Whilst in the middle of a kitchen remodel, it was necessary to look into getting an instant water heater for under our sink. I did some searching and came across this instant water heater by FISOCENY. This appeared to be aligned with what I was looking for. I went ahead and ordered this and now that we have it home and installed, I can attest that this is by far one of the best instant water heaters I've tested or owned. The fact the water can get to the hot temperature much quicker is such a resourceful tool. Very energy efficient. Below, I will outline some of the features that led me to choose this one over other similar ones on the market. *Design: Simplistic -6 Min Rapid Heat- Energy Efficient- 110V instant water heater- Adjustable temp - Digital display *Functionality: this water heater has measured up to my expectations. The water heats up incredibly fast. Also, I like the flexibility of being able to adjust the temp to desired temp *Installation - daunting but with assistance from my BIL - got this set up *Material: Stainless steel of premium grade *Insulation foam - Safety measure *Overheat protection *Pressure release valve All in all, I find that the engineer who designed this instant water tank did an outstanding job. This has really improved our kitchen functions. The material is durable and substantial. Based on a positive experience- I would recommend this to other consumers. I appreciate your time reading my review. I hope it has been informative and helpful. :) ... show more

  • Haven't installed yet but appears of good quality
I bought this as part of construction plan for a bathroom in our garage. It's detached and the future sink is about 30 ft from our house and almost 100 ft from the water heater. The quality feels solid and the installation seems very straight forward.

  • Very handy
I use have a gas water heater & sometimes I run out of propane. I used to have heat up water in a pot when it ran out. It cost $300 to refill so theres usually a couple weeks in between. I stress about it often but this changes everything. It puts out enough water, hot enough to wash dishes. It's small enough that I just keep it under my kitchen sink. The connectors are color coded & the dials are clearly labeled so install & operation is almost obvious. ... show more
