It wasn’t able to fit under the sink due to plumbing, however it mounted to the wall next to the sink. I mean I wish it was out of view, but it’s a workshop and this now provides hot water on demand. Make sure you tape appropriately the 2 - .5" male threads for Hot and Cold on top. PEX works great with this tank and CPVC pipe. I would recommend putting this unit in a plastic round pan for down the road when it fails, typically all leaks happen at the bottom seam over long time. I did have to go to the store to grab a different size hose to attach to my plumbing. But that's not the water heater manufacturer's fault. I read the reviews before ordering so I kinda knew what to expect. I didn't use a single piece of Teflon tape during my install but did make sure all of the rubber gaskets were in place and 48hrs later we still have no leaks. I was surprised at how fast this little guy heats up the water when I first powered it up. I only have the thermostat turned up about halfway and the water comes out plenty warm enough for our outdoor patio sink. ... show more

Bought on 18 Aug 2025. Installed a couple days later. it worked fine - worked great. Approx 3 weeks ago the hot water was intermittent. Maybe 6 days or so ago I decided to turn heat higher, to see if it would be more consistent with hot water and It was. But tonight it popped the circuit breaker. Now I know it’s going to be taken out. I don’t trust it. And wouldn’t you know it I wasted $91.15, as well as the time to install. It didn’t even last 3 months. Works well. Heats up fast and is fairly well insulated. Just be sure to use ALOT of the included nylon tape on the pressure release valve threads.

I used this for my portable wash bowl and it was a pain to set up because there was no instructions on what I was specifically setting up but overall a great product. Sadly I’m not able to insert my video of the whole set up but it works
