The media could not be loaded. This one is actually very good! I had the Bosch version for 2 years and I came home to find the kitchen flooded. Bosch heater somehow spewing out hot water through a tiny hole on the side. So I had to tear it down. But I do need instant hot water in the kitchen since it is located far away from the house heater. Shopping on amazon for a new one and this one caught my eye. Its price is very attractive. I figured Bosch would only last 2 years,if this one gets a year. I’m ahead of the game. So I bought one on prime day. Installed it in 5 minutes. And it’s been working great! Very good product!

This was a great buy! Bought this to use with my utility sink in the workshop. It heats up fast and was fairly easy to install (according to my handyman). It wasn’t able to fit under the sink due to plumbing, however it mounted to the wall next to the sink. I mean I wish it was out of view, but it’s a workshop and this now provides hot water on demand. Highly reccomend. Newly installed. Will update if any changes. No leakage, works as intended.

This heater has been in use for nearly 60 days with no issues. My purchase included extra connections, hoses etc. that can easily cost more than $25 at any plumbing department when purchased separately. I did not need most of these extras, as I was replacing a unit previously installed. For an initial install it would be great! This water heater holds a hot temperature (not just the set temp.) good . It is also a lot smaller than others I have owned with an equivalent gallon size. Might not have a lot of insulation but mine is used inside my home. The build quality is very good especially the threaded inlet/outlet ports. Nice clean threads that did not require constant re-taping and checking for leaks. This was a first for me with this type of water heater. Following opinion is an FYI for this type of water heater, not for this particular item: For over 10 years I have used this type of inside cabinet point of use water heater in 2 rooms, kitchen and master bath. I hate waiting for hot water from the main heater. That's 45 seconds of my life I can never get back! Problem is they leak quickly after 2 years on average. Buy a leak detector (like a Govee) for $13 and save yourself from damaged wood under your cabinets, or worse. The tanks have thin wall in order to heat quickly with 110 volts and develop hot spots which fracture the metal.

So far I am very happy with this unit, it seems like a solid value as it was less than half of the ones I was using price wise. It was super easy to install as I already had an outlet under the sink and hot and cold water lines were accessible as well. The tank heater has a small footprint, heats the water very fast, water seems to hold the heat, the unit seldom turns on, I've used this type of water heater for several years. With energy cost increasing in my area and alarming rate I'm doing what I can to keep the cost down, this unit supplies all the water I needed at the kitchen sink. Overall it is a 4 star rating for Ease of installation, Heat generation, Functionality, Compactness

the last Kenuos water heater I bought lasted 2 years and the tank started to leak; I bought this one because it was the upgraded improved model. This one leaked at the pressure/temperature relief valve even with proper thread seal and tightening the valve until it bottomed out on the water heater. It appears either the fitting to the tank or the relief valve are improperly machined. I requested a replacement as I need some sort of heater the run to the kitchen sink waists tons of water waiting for hot water.

I was dubious as to how long these devices last, but I've put it through its paces and it hasn't faltered even the smallest amount. I have a 30 second run from my home's hot water heater to the kitchen sink and dishwasher. This is annoying if you are quickly trying to wash a glass, or want to start the dishwasher with hot water. I wasn't sure how well these heaters worked, but from the moment i turned it on (I have it nearly at the hottest setting, but not the absolute hottest) it has provided consistent, REALLY GOOD AND HOT water. It's totally amazing. You have a greasy pan, and you need to quickly throw soap in and wash it without setting the grease, or waiting for the hot water? No problem. From the second my faucet handle turns, it takes about 1/3 of a second before you have the hot water to clean everything, wash anything. The only problem I had with this unit was that from years of having to wait 30 seconds, we managed to burn our fingers many many times "waiting" for the hot water with our finger under the running water. So be careful of that!! But instant hot water for my dishwasher, every cycle, makes me very confident in the sterility of my dishes. And you have Ramen cups? I've made them with the water directly out of this!! Hot chocolate, tea, its hot enough to make those products without boiling the water, in my opinion! This thing is great and I hope it never breaks but if it does I'm buying another one!
