I love this under desk bike! With this mat it stays in place under my desk, though roller desk chair moves (I purchased wheel stoppers to help). It was easy to assemble and assemble instructions were easy to follow. It has resistant options and the added arm resistance bands are nice. This bike is the perfect size for you to be able to pedal under desk and not hit your knees (my desk is standard height). This bike has been a great way to keep my legs moving while I work all day. Though I work from home I spend many hours in meetings on my computer and cannot get up and take a long walk as much as I would like. I bought this for my spouse, and it's working well. Easy to use and very quiet. Assembly is easy, but if you're not familiar with bicycle pedals read the directions. The threads are different (one is standard right hand thread, the other is a left hand thread).

I am a woman in her early 60's. During the spring, summer and fall, I enjoy riding a bicycle outdoors several times a week. My "normal" path is about 10 miles. I tend to pass people riding with children and folks just out for a leisurely ride. I tend to be passed by people wearing jerseys with pockets in the back and lots of logos. On days when I don't ride my bike, I generally take a 3-4 mile walk outdoors. That should give you some idea of my fitness level. I got this pedaler so that I could get a bit of extra activity while I am just sitting on my backside. I've had it for a few days and have used it a couple of times. Here's my take... Assembly is very easy. It is light enough to move around easily yet heavy enough to stay put while using it. The handle makes moving it from room to room very convenient. I only use this machine while seated. I didn't bother with the resistance bands as I want the machine to use while using my hands for other activities. The pedals are not comfortable enough when just wearing socks or bare footed. I wear a pair of Crocs that I don't wear outdoors and they make the pedals comfortable. I did not bother with the pedal straps and have no problem with my feet staying put on the pedals. Using this machine is nowhere near the workout I get from taking my walk or riding a real bicycle but, it does raise my heart rate enough that I start to feel a bit warm while doing it. One would need to have very short legs in order for this to fit under a standard sitting desk and still have enough room for one's legs while using the machine. The pedals are not directly under one's hips when used as they are when riding a typical bicycle. Pedaling on this machine while seated in a chair or sofa is more like riding a recumbent bicycle. The motion is smooth enough that I am able to knit while pedaling. When seated on a stool at a desk intended for standing, I have no problem using a keyboard while pedaling. Overall, this is a nice product. The quality seems decent assuming that it will last. It is certainly better for one's body than just sitting still for hours at a time. It is so quiet that it probably won't bother other people. I'm sure I'll still be passed by those folks in the jerseys with pockets on the back and lots of logos but, at least I don't feel as though I've been a total slug when I spend most of the day knitting. ... show more

Easy assembly after reviewing a YouTube 2:50 setup video, easy to use MERACH app, quiet smooth and not jarring while in use. I bought this smart under the desk bike for weight loss, attention to legs and arms, and to build up my knee strength. Love competing with others in fun competitions. You can join different classes as well as follow coaches. Biking drives you to keep going further, pursue hitting different levels at your leisure. Bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife and she likes it. Works as shown. The only thing is the arm bands are useless. They are too long and thin, so there is no resistance. But the peddler itself works great. It’s quiet and you can dial up the resistance. It’s easy to put together too.

Super good design. Right sized. Right weight. Easy to carry. Everything works! Solid good hardware. Would be really awesome if it would also have a place to keep the bolt tightening tool. You don’t want to go looking for one if the pedal or bolts becomes loose.

The machine was very easy to assemble. It was nice to use—-pedals in the right place. Love the handle as it make moving it easy. However the end caps are plastic and keep coming off as machine is used, or shifting and you have to stop pedaling to fix it. So not as stable as advertised. I’m not sure I’ll keep it. Update: The company reached out to me from the beginning. And as soon as they knew of the issue, they were quick to inquire, help, and make restitution. I very much appreciated the customer service that was displayed, and it makes me feel better about possibly trying them again if there is ever a need. ... show more
