Personally prefer hats w/o adjusting mechanism on back, including the half-circle hole above. But it's very hard to find a hat w/o it. Found! This hat is lightweight, w/o being see-through or mesh; has a well designed and crafted integrated stretch band covered in same material as the hat (no cheap exposed 1" elastic); has a good shape that remains once on head (w/o puckering, sagging, etc.) Like it so much, going to order another before the design is changed. Only recommendation is to consider 1 size larger than size chart. I measured and followed (am 160 lb) ordering M-L size. Too tight. Returned/reordered L-XL. Perfect fit. Snug so wont blow off in wind w/o giving me a terrible hat-hair. :) Cheers. ... show more

We got this hat for my husband to wear while paddle boarding and it helps. It helps to keep the sun off his head and prevents sunburns. Very adjustable and lightweight. Grey hat for outdoor activities as it’s very breathable.

This hat is one of the rare hats that is offered in different sizes. I have a relatively small head, and all-sizes hats don't work for me. I was delighted to see a hat offered in different sizes and this one fits me well. It has a slightly curved beak which is also just perfect. I'm normal S/M on the flexfit hats, read comments, did the measuring and decided a L/XL was likely the best fit. It is slightly big, but will still work ok for what I need it so I'm keeping it, but if you're normally S/M on flexfit and want a glove fit, I would go for a M/L.
