Excellent balaclava. Keeps my entire face and head warm although it doesn't allow moisture from my breath to escape causing the mouth portion to become wet which can be problematic in extremely cold temps.

Recent weather was good opportunity to see how well it worked. Outside temp in mid-twenties with 10-15mph wind. Balaclava worked great, did not feel the wind, was nice and warm. Breathing thru the mask was easy. One note, your glasses at some point will fog up but I've yet to find anything that it dosen't happen. Would highly recommend. ... show more

It's very thick and perfect for below freezing temperatures. But it is difficult to fit my hair under. If you have ALOT of thick hair, I do not recommend this mask
