We have had the Uncle Brown smart toilet now for several months, so we have spent a lot of time with it and I feel very confident in my review. First off, the build quality of this toilet is fantastic. Everything is solid. The installation instructions are very thorough and the template provided was really helpful. If you frequently DIY in your home, this is easy. The adapters for the water hookup and simple and work well. Keep in mind if you are installing this on a tile floor that you will need to use a diamond bit to drill into the tile floor to reach the subfloor. It's not difficult, but take your time and keep the surface wet while drilling! The functions of the toilet are super intuitive, and all the primary components work really well: heated seat, bidet and dryer. The remote makes everything easy. Once you have a smart toilet, you won't go back. The really useful thing about this unit is the built in tank and pump. We don't have the best water pressure, and we initially purchased the ST03 unit. That one doesn't have a built in tank and pump, and when water was being used elsewhere in the house, we didn't have a reliable flush on the ST03. This is where Uncle Brown customer service comes in, and they were spectacular. They were prompt, first advising a separate pump I could purchase to improve water pressure on the line, but when I discovered that was going to be cumbersome and expensive to install, they recommended the ST03 Pro and initiated a return for the ST03. They communicated regularly and clearly until we sorted everything out and the new unit was installed. Overall, I have been really impressed by both the quality of the product and the customer service team.

I got this for my aging parents, and while they thought something like this was a bit “gimmicky”, there is no way they would turn it loose now. This toilet is all about comfort and quality of life. The height is perfect, as is the large size and contour of the seat. This is one product that seemingly went through some actual testing after it was designed. It’s easy to spend more on one of these bidet toilets, but you won’t get more for your money than buying this one. Works great in every respect, and what it doesn’t do automatically is easy and effortless with the remote. The words on the remote are a bit small for older eyes, so I used little pieces of different colored post it notes to help them remember the location of bidet on and stop buttons. This toilet says it’s self cleaning, and it is! Amazing! The night light at the base and in the bowl make middle of the night goes much, much safer. This toilet weighs every bit of the 110lbs indicated in the listing, and I hired a plumber because of that. In my case, I did need to have the water supply stop moved to make room for this unit. Also, I highly recommend arranging for some power for the toilet before installing it, to avoid subjecting your folks to an extension cord. In my case, the toilet was in its own little room, and I installed an outlet using power from the light switch for the room. The amount of time from “That’s ridiculous” to “Thank you” was pretty much instantaneous….

This toilet is awesome! I read plenty of reviews of other products, but this one functions exactly like advertised. The night light is very useful and can be shut off if desired. I love the automatic flush feature as well. One of the best installations I've seen. There are plastic mounts that attach to the floor which are good for preventing the ceramic from cracking. I used the supplied template to drill (4) holes in the floor (outside the flange) and boom, done. Unit comes with everything needed to install - wax ring, dual valve, hardware, and screw caps to make a clean look. Don't be fooled by the low price. This thing is a home run!

I recently installed the Upgraded Smart Toilet, and overall, it’s a great addition to my bathroom with a few areas that could be improved to make it perfect. Installation: The installation process was straightforward, though it took me a bit longer because I needed to move a water line. One thing worth noting is that I didn’t need to change the toilet flange during the install. Based on my research, it seems most toilet flanges are fairly standard, so be sure to double-check yours before starting—there’s a good chance you won’t need to replace it. I also used a waxless ring, which seems to be working well so far with no leaks. Performance & Features: This toilet offers a wide range of features, but there are a few quirks: The auto-open/close lid is convenient but can be a bit much. The lid opens every time I walk into the bathroom, even if I’m not using the toilet. It would be nice to have the option to turn off the proximity sensor or adjust its sensitivity so you need to be closer for it to activate. The heated seat, bidet function, and instant warm water work as expected and feel luxurious. However, I wish the water pressure on the high setting were slightly stronger—it’s a touch weaker than the bidet seat I’m used to. The auto-cleaning mode is another area where more customization would be helpful. While I haven’t tested it fully while sitting, the cleaning cycle seems longer than necessary. Having programmable options to shorten or adjust the cleaning duration would improve the experience. Final Thoughts: This toilet delivers a sleek, modern look with features like a deodorizer, powerful flush for low water pressure areas, and an auto-open/close lid. While it performs well overall, improvements like adjustable auto lid settings, stronger water pressure, and customizable cleaning options would make it a standout.
