This is an outstanding dinnerware set that strikes the perfect balance between durability, practicality, and fun design. The colors are vibrant without being over the top, and everything feels surprisingly substantial in your hands. What impressed me most is how sturdy these pieces are. These aren’t flimsy picnic dishes—you can comfortably enjoy a bowl of hot soup without worrying about the bowl getting too hot or flexing, and the plates are rigid enough that you could cut into a steak without them bending all over the place. They’re exactly what you want for cookouts, camping, picnics, or any meal where disposable paper plates just don’t cut it. The bowls are especially well designed. The sides have a steeper angle than most, making it easy to scoop up the last bites of cereal, pasta, or soup without chasing food around the bowl. I also think this would be an absolutely perfect dinnerware set for toddlers who are graduating from sippy cups and baby dishes to “real” tableware. The cups and bowls have wide, stable bases that make them much less tippy, and the lightweight but sturdy construction is ideal for little hands. Overall, this is a fantastic, well-made set that feels like it will stand up to years of everyday use. Highly recommended for families, outdoor entertaining, or anyone looking for durable, attractive dinnerware.

What a great set of picnic dishes. Really nostalgic too. My family had a set almost exactly like this when I was a kid and we used them to smithereens car-camping in Yosemite and other places. I don't know what makes these different from the polypropylene plastic dishes of yore, but these feel sturdy and I've already dropped one in the kitchen and just bounced around for a bit. They say in the description "microwave safe" [at low temperature] and I'd followed that rule or just leave them out of the microwave all together. My one experience with reheating some leftovers just felt "off", kind of "soft-ish" when I took the plastic bowl out of the microwave oven. After the experience with the microwave oven, I will only wash these in the dishwasher on the top rack. I don't think they're safe close to the water heating element. The dishes are colorful too and not in a garish, primary, Fisher-Price sort of way. I've already added these to the "we're eating outside today" box. The price is pretty good at about $21 (at time of review) and with serving for 6, there's enough for a small bbq party. However, there are sets available of the same material for less that include utensils, so the price point isn't quite on parity with other sets. That's the lost star. Oh, you're asking about knives on the plastic? Yep, they scratch from a sharp knife. Easily. Very easily. But they're plastic, so no surprises. The rule around here will be, "no steak knives." Easy to recommend as long as the downsides of soft plastic are considered. And "The exquisite packaging makes them an ideal gift choice for weddings, Christmas, birthdays, Mother's Day,Thanksgiving and holiday surprises." they speak of in the description is just a cube-shaped, thin, brown cardboard box. It's a bit optimistic -- even embarrassing -- to call the packaging exquisite.

I got this set for my daughter’s college house, and it has exceeded my expectations. The dishes appear to be very durable, lightweight, and virtually unbreakable, making them perfect for a college student. The boho-inspired colors are beautiful and add a fun pop of color to the table. My favorite feature is the shape of the bowls and plates. They have a deeper design than most dinnerware, which helps prevent spills and makes them much more practical for everyday use. The cups are a little on the small side, but they’re still great for juice, water, or anyone who prefers a smaller drink. Overall, this is a fantastic non-glass dinnerware set. It’s attractive, sturdy, and practical, and I highly recommend it for college students, families with kids, RVs, or anyone looking for durable everyday dishes.

Okay these dishes are so cute! My daughter recently moved into a new apartment and I know she will love these! They are bright and cheerful colors. They are matte with almost a buttery feel to them. The dishes can be microwaved dishwashed as well as frozen. I liked that the plate has a lip on it to make eating easier but also it can function for wettish meals like pasta or stew. The dishes are great for everyday use especially for kids as well as camping and other outdoor activities. Overall, for about $21 at the time of review this dish set is a great value and really pleasant looking!
