I recently tried the UNA GELLA Almond Gel Nail Tips and for the price I’m impressed. They come in a generous pack (216 or 504 pieces) in 12 sizes, so you’ve got plenty to experiment with. The almond shape is flattering and the clear pre-shaped tips make them a super convenient base for DIY gel polish or dip powder, perfect for filming at-home manicure reels. The fit is pretty good, though I did a little filing at the cuticle edge and sidewalls to make them sit flush, and one of my friends with wider nail beds said they needed to pick the size carefully for best coverage. The material feels solid for daily wear, and I got a clean finish that looked “filmed for social” (my camera loved it!). If you’re doing DIY nails, want content-friendly tools, and don’t want to drop salon prices, I’d definitely recommend these. Just keep in mind: good prep = better results. If you’re after ultra-seamless, professional-grade wear (4-5 weeks with zero flaws), you might eventually step up the glue or builder gel system. But for the majority of my community (busy moms, content creators, self-care nights) these hit the sweet spot between affordability + style.

Medium stiletto, Modelone nail glue, Beetles gel nail polish. I love the shape and size of these. I don’t like when my nails are to thick or curve downward too much. With the nail glue I use, as long as I get a good seal, they last 2 weeks easy. I usually have to redo 1 or 2 during those weeks because I out of 20 I get a good seal on 18-19 the first time. I really love the way the beetles polish looks on these, I think it has the best self leveling out of all the other brands I’ve tried. These nails aren’t as sturdy as acrylic, but they don’t break easy. Abusing them (using them as tools) will break them before the two weeks is up. I love all the options for shapes and lengths they offer, makes having the perfect nail for any occasion easy 10/10 part of my biweekly routine for years now

SHAPE I like a pointed almond nail.... somewhere between a stiletto and almond. These nail are shaped perfectly to my preference. It isn't any ole almond. It is a very specific almond shape that I have literally selected nail technicians based on their ability to achieve. No more micromanaging the shaping of my nail enhancements. MATERIAL The nails feel soft and flexible. The bottom is etched for better adhesion and also obscures any nailbed imperfections for jelly or sheer polishes. The top of the nail is slightly tacky, which allows polish to grip better. SIZE These nails come in a variety of sizes. And the size differences are subtle enough to find a nail that perfectly matches my nail size. The length of the medium pointed almond is PERFECTION. They are long enough to elongate the finger for a sexy and feminine look. They are practically short for those of use who find long nails too cumbersome for everyday life. I like the femininity of a longer nail and the classiness and practicality of a shorter nail. This length is a perfect balance of the two. OVERALL These are my new go-to nails. I can't see myself getting any other brand. If it isn't broke, don't fix it, right. I do wish they would carry a short stiletto, as my daughter wants to design nails but she and her friends are too young for medium or long. These nails are perfect for me. The price is phenomenal. I hit the jackpot. Seller, PLEASE do not stop carrying the pointed almond in medium because I'm in love love.

This stuff is amazing! I started doing Gel X at home a few months ago and I started with the bottled Beetles UV nail glue and my nails wouldn’t stay on more than a few days, and it would squish out the sides and was messy (I know, user error but still), so I almost gave up doing them myself. Then I tried this and it’s amazingggggg. So much cleaner and easier to use and my nails do not budge, it’s like having acrylics on. My set will last 2 weeks and when I’m ready for them to come off, just cause my nails have grown out, even then they don’t want to budge! So I guess the only “con” is that it’s hard to get your nails off when the time comes. But that’s also the point, we want our nails to stay on, so is it really a con?? I think not. Anyways, if you’re considering trying this stuff I highly recommend!
