I recommend that using 40 Watt or below bulbs. Otherwise it will be very bright since there are 4 bulbs. Other than that, it is a very nice fixture.

-First Thoughts- The light (4 bulb option) came on time and was packaged well. Once open, I noticed the light looked great and was made from quality materials, which did not feel cheap. There was no paperwork or instructions included, nor a sticker anywhere on the light indicating the max wattage for light bulbs. This was not too big of a deal, as the information is listed under the product description on Amazon (E26 Base Bulbs 60w max), but would have been nice to have. -Installation and Use- The light looks great (I can't say this enough) and have been using it for a few months now with no issues! The installation was very easy, I cut the power from the breaker and mirrored the wiring from the previous light. I have run into issues in the past with cheap wire caps coming lose and chose to go with lever wire connectors for this installation. I’m sure the caps that came with the light are sufficient, this is just my personal preference. -Brightness- Because this is a four lightbulb fixture, it is capable of lighting an area larger than a bedroom, and may even be too bright for smaller rooms depending on your preference. I like the fact that this light fixture is capable of utilizing a dimmer switch to control the brightness in the room, or optional Smart LED Edison bulbs with the E26 base, allowing you to use your phone or smart device to control the brightness in the room. -Overall- My overall thoughts are this is a great looking light, it functions well with no issues, and would expect to pay twice as much from a home improvement store. I had a spare bedroom that had a very basic white glass globe at the ceiling light. I decided that I wanted a more modern light after repainting the room. It was very easy for me to swap the light out and with Edison bulbs installed, it provides a lot more light and with the openness of the fixture and four bulbs, it makes a huge difference in how the room looks. ... show more

We needed to replace a chandelier in a room in our new home since that room won’t be our dining room. This fits our farmhouse’ish style so we decided to try it out. The metal construction is good, black semi-gloss finish is well done, and installation was straightforward with plenty of room for wiring. I installed 4x 40w equivalent clear LED standard size bulbs and it looks great, proving plenty of light in this 13x14 room. This is a nice departure for a ceiling light for the kitchen or den or anywhere you're looking for something modern yet with traditional lines. The base and "shade" are black metal and give you the impression of a traditional globed lamp, but it's completely open which allows you to take this in any direction depending on your choice of lights. In my case I wanted to add a modern element so I used tube-style LED lights with visible filaments. With 4 bulbs, I went with a less strong light but I might go higher and use a dimmer to provide a better range of light given how exposed the bulbs are. The fixture is not at all heavy and attaches via a pair of screws with cap nuts that attach to a typical box-mounting bracket (round - shown above). Easy to install and I really enjoyed the spare look of the fixture with some fun bulbs. You could use round bulbs or Edison bulbs and shift the look from "pop" to "traditional" just like that.
