I have a weak spot for umbrellas, which is odd since I don't often use them. But I like umbrellas which are made well and don't break easily. This is a well made umbrella with a lot of nice design areas. It collapses nicely into a compact shape, but also opens up pretty wide. It has 12 metal spines and opens up to be 43 inches in diameter. The opening mechanism works well and it looks like this umbrella will be able to withstand some decent winds before bending or breaking. It also comes with a storage sack, which is convenient for this umbrella. This small size is nice to fit inside of my vehicle, under the seat.

This is a great umbrella to keep in the car as it doesn't take up much space and does its job keeping the rain off your head. The smaller size does mean your pant legs and shoes will likely get a bit wet, but if you're trying to stay dry then don't go out in the rain. Wind resistance is about normal for a multi-level collapsible umbrella (instead of single large ribs of a not-so-portable umbrella). Don't take it out in heavy gusts but for regular wind you'll be fine. My only gripe is the small handle / grip. I don't have big hands by any means but the grip feels weird to hold and should likely be a bit larger.

What an impressive little umbrella. It's lightweight, but substantial, if that makes sense. Like it feels heavy for its size, but overall it's a lightweight item. Or maybe I'm just used to cheaply made umbrellas, because I've never owned one that hasn't fallen apart within weeks. In fact, I usually forego an umbrella altogether, because of the bad luck I've had with them over the years. But this one seems to have reversed that. I took it out in a pretty windy rainstorm. I can't say for sure what the windspeed was, but it was certainly high enough that garbage cans were rolling all over the street (if they weren't already toppled over). Though it took a bit of effort on my part, I was pleasantly surprised that this umbrella stayed open the whole time. Aside from that, I've only taken it out in lighter stormy weather, which was no issue. Overall, this is a well-designed product that I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a strong and compact umbrella.

This umbrella is compact, sturdy and wind resistant. It is has12 reinforced fiberglass rods that support the umbrella and will keep it from flipping inside out in a gust of wind. My last umbrella ended up in the graveyard of broken umbrellas when a gust of wind took it out by snapping one of its’ rods. That will not happen with this one! The compactness of this umbrella makes it perfect for travel, for throwing it in a handbag or backpack, or for putting it around your wrist and swinging it around while taking a walk. Whether rain or shine this umbrella will protect you from both the sun and rain. All you need is one finger to press the button to open it. No more struggling with packages and needing 2 hands, those days are gone. The open/close button makes it convenient to both open and close this umbrella (although once closed you still have to shorted the stem). This is definitely a sturdy umbrella that will last, and at a great price point.

I actually had occasion to use this umbrella today, and I can report it is indeed windproof -- gusts of wind that would invert other umbrellas didn't with this one so that's a plus, along with it's small size when folded, allowing you to put it in a backpack or bag Otherwise there isn't really anything special about this umbrella -- the diameter when open is similar to most any other one. As for the "open/close" button, it does indeed pop open, but pushing the button to close it just pulls the material together -- you still have to push it down in place to completely close it and surprisingly that is a bit difficult. Also once opened for the first time it becomes difficult to close it enough with the strap to slide it back into the outer sleeve. In conclusion to me the wind proofing justifies the cost of the umbrella, but as for the rest you won't find anything uniquely different from any other umbrella of the sort.

This umbrella is a nice size and seems sturdy. I haven’t been in a windstorm yet but have used it in the rain and it does what it’s supposed to do. Folds up easily and nicely. Greta for travel or to keep in your car. I recommend to anyone looking for a new umbrella.
