Took a chance on these and I can say it actually works. We had some activity in the beginning, I think they were trying to get out, since then, nothing. Still get flies just from opening and closing the door but spiders and other crawlers have disappeared.

I have woods right behind the new home I bought three years ago and this summer I seemed to get invaded by spiders and roly polies (pill bugs). Since I have a cat and a dog I was trying non-toxic, natural methods. The night I got these I plugged in three in my downstairs, two upstairs and one in my garage - all free of obstruction. I swept and vacuumed my entire upstairs, downstairs, baseboards and all along my downstairs ceilings - getting rid of several spiders in the process. I then took the vacuum bag, sealed it in the kitchen trash bag and disposed of it in the garage garbage can. There was one spider that had managed to evade me as I was cleaning. Twelve hours later, I noticed the little bugger had set up a new home just inches away from one of the three, downstairs sensors (see first picture) meant to drive bugs out. (Ignore the missing electrical plate in the pictures, please. I’m finishing painting my entire downstairs.) So I killed it and hoped to see no more bugs. It’s now 31 days later and I just moved the fruit bowl to find a new spider in the same, exact spot (see 2nd picture) - along with five other spiders in various spots along my downstairs baseboards. That’s not counting the other spiders and bugs I’ve killed throughout the last month (lost count of how many). Soooo these DID NOT WORK for me, and unfortunately I missed the return window by one day. I may try another brand before trying something more drastic. The only positive I have to say is the sensors have had minimal to no impact on my cat and dog. They each cocked their head to the side when I plugged them in (so they definitely heard something), and sniffed the two lower ones, but other than that the first night they seemed to pay them no attention. *** UPDATE AFTER NEARLY 90 DAYS OF USE *** One star is too generous for this product. I kept them plugged in to see if I would notice an improvement. Just killed 6 spiders..SIX SPIDERS! in a 600 square foot area where I have three of the devices plugged in, strategically positioned per manufacturer instructions. I wipe my counters down daily and about once a week I pull the only three items away from the counter wall and sanitize entire counter area. So the two spiders you saw in the included pictures after 30 days were not from weeks of neglected cleaning. I sweep/vacuum regularly, as well. Every few months I go so far as to pull everything away from the walls and sweep, vacuum and dust baseboards. Keep in mind I’d just done this less than 90 days ago when I installed these devices. Well, I killed six new spiders, and those are just the ones I saw. Was really hoping to find a non-toxic, pet/environment friendly solution before taking more drastic measures for my new home. But THIS PRODUCT IS NOT THE SOLUTION for me. It’s a waste of time, purchase money, and electricity.

I was surprised that the product stopped working so soon. I didn't get when I bought it info about "shelf life"

I bought six of these pest chasers for my home. They have two settings the higher setting is audible great for garage crawl space or in frequently used rooms. The negative is if the power is interrupted they turn off you will have to push the buttons to reset on all six if power is interrupted for even a few seconds. They have blue lights when on but still a negative in my opinion.

We had a mouse and did everything within our power to be mouse free. We did an extensive deep clean, bought cats, bought these devices, cedar, moth balls and peppermint oil. I have not seen proof of any pests. I don't know if this is supposed to work for spiders as well but I have seen a couple spiders.

The mice in our house love them. After a month of testing of all10 of these units plugged-in all around the house. The little blue light is a great help for them also. Though I think one little mouse was injured while running torwards the unit, he tripped on the darn thing. We found this product actually performed best when I unplugged them, put them back in the box and returned them.

They do help keep the roaches away. However, the sound they make gives me a headache. If you have sensitive ears I don’t recommend these.
