This privacy screen works. I bought it as a replacement for another screen protector I tried prior, which developed a fine crack across the width for no reason and out of nowhere. This Ultraglass one installed easy; the privacy screen works well - protects privacy while also not harming screen quality or visuals, impacting things like boarding pass scans at airports, etc. My favorite thing about this screen protector/privacy screen is that it did indeed save my iPhone screen from shattering. I was out running with my dog when I dropped my phone and it landed hard on a corner against a tough asphalt portion of the trail we were on. The impact was so severe and surface so rough that it actually gauged a massive chunk out of my Apple silicone case and scratched the iPhone case beneath the silicone. The impact also shattered the corner of my UltraGlass privacy screen - but the iPhone’s screen beneath was totally fine and had no damage at all. Once my panic settled as I realized there was no serious damage, all I had to do was remove the shattered protector and replace it with the spare (since these are sold as a 2 pack). I just ordered the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and ordered the UltraGlass privacy screen protector for it because I won’t live without it now. ... show more

I couldn’t be happier with my UltraGlass Protector for my iPhone 16 Pro Max! The product itself is excellent. It's easy to install, fingerprint-resistant, smooth to the touch, and the privacy feature is fantastic (especially on airplanes, when I don’t want the person next to me peeking at my screen). It also provides great protection without sacrificing a very responsive touchscreen. What really sets UltraGlass apart, though, is their outstanding customer service. My protector cracked, and when I reached out to their support, "Febby" responded quickly and took care of everything under warranty! No hassle at all. She was professional, attentive, and incredibly fast in resolving my issue. It’s rare these days to find a company that stands so firmly behind its products, but UltraGlass does exactly that. This screen protector is amazing! Super clear when I’m looking straight at it, and the privacy filter really works! Installation was way easier than I expected, with step by step instructions. What really blew me away though was the customer support. I had a small issue with alignment & bubbles and reached out, quickly I had a friendly rep to address the issue. They honestly made me feel like my purchase actually mattered, which is rare these days. Plus, knowing they cover their product for a full year (even accidents!) is a huge relief. It’s not a bad value for the price. It was extremely simple to apply. The quality seems nice but time will tell. It doesn’t completely go to the edge of the phone, but that works out perfect in order for you to use a case without it, pushing up the glass or pushing the sides out on the case. The privacy part of the glass is not quite as narrow as I expected. The privacy part is only directly to the left and right side. When viewing from the top or bottom, you can still see everything on the screen. If you’re in a dark room, even when your brightness is turned down, you can still make out what’s being viewed from the sides where privacy should render it impossible. I recently purchased the UltraGlass Privacy Screen Protector for my iPhone, and overall, I’m really happy with the performance. I wanted something that would protect my screen while also keeping my info private in public, and this product delivers on both. The privacy filter works great—anyone sitting next to me can barely see what’s on my screen, even with brightness up. It’s perfect for commuting, working in cafés, or just not having nosy people glancing over my shoulder. It also still allows enough brightness when looking directly at the screen, though I did have to bump up my brightness just a little. In terms of screen protection, it’s top-tier. The UltraGlass feels super smooth, like the original screen, and resists fingerprints and smudges better than most protectors I’ve used. Very easy install. It uses the now generic applicator, which works fine. The first protector did crack without any known damage to it, however, the phone screen itself was perfectly fine. The package comes with two screens - so I put the other one on, and well, it did break too - BUT, it is because I dropped it on top of a pile of jagged rocks. It looked like it had been shot by a shotgun, but the phone screen itself was perfectly undamaged. I contacted the company's customer support and they responded well. These are great screen protectors! The install could not be easier, I actually prefer this install method over many of the other brands. The privacy feature works great, the screen is super smooth and responsive, and the edges cover more than a lot of other screen protectors but not enough to where a case would pop it off.
