Ultra yield 5x5 grow tent came in a nondescript box. Constructed of heavy duty material like Gorilla. Interior is very reflective. Comparable to the higher end, and more expensive tents. The extension is great for taller plants, and being removable made it simpler to assemble than the mars tents. I'm hanging an l.e.d. with no worry, it's got plenty of ports for ducting, lower openings for venting in veg, and power openings all of which can be cinched shut locking out light. The tent seemed to be made very well and sturdy. It was also easy to put up, but within 6 months the main zipper on the front has torn, as seen in the photos, and it can no longer be zipped up. This pretty much makes the tent unusable. I was always very careful when zipping up the tent so I must have gotten a lemon. Hopefully they follow through on their 12 month warranty. ... show more

In a time where customer service and satisfaction is somewhat lacking, It is refreshing to have a company that care about there customers. I had and issue with one of the poles that came with the tent and I contacted company about it. I was contacted almost immediately by the owner of the company and it was resolved. Cannot ask for a better company to do business with. The product itself is excellent quality and construction. So I don't usually review these products but I feel like there are some things people need to know before purchasing. First, it is a HEAVY material. That's a good thing as you are paying for thick walls to keep light and smell in. The thing is, when it's fully closed, it's not light proof or completely sealed. There is a gap where the zippers meet in 2 different areas which both light and smell can easily go through. Second, the zippers are so big they are almost unusable (definitely not able to close tent one-handed) and they don't glide like you'd expect a zipper to. This is partially because the walls are so thick that it's hard to hold the weight. My fear is that with repeated use, those zippers will fail more and more. Which brings me to... Third, access to get in the tent kinda sucks. The floor lip is taller than most so I have to over step in but the part that is even more annoying is those zippers! There are a total of 5 zippers that keep the main entrance closed... 5! And one you have to undo like a coat so you have to reconnect them EVERY TIME! Then we can finally get to the lack of side access. No side access at all! Anything 3x3 or over needs to have at least one side access zipper so I can tend to things in the back. This one does not. I don't know how I'd maximize the extra space if I can't reach half the stuff in the back of the tent. These things are why I gave 3 stars. I will likely keep searching for a replacement tent that fits my needs a little more and return this. Also pictures are to show that one of the corner connections was bent and I had to take a pair of pliers to fix it. I did not take away for this as it was probably damaged in shipping. Holy crap this one should last. I'm waiting for my son to put it up, so I haven't inspected the canvas. Pic with green poles are a comparison. The Vivosun is a 2x4x5. It was very flimsy. I had to tie nylon rope to stabilize the tent. I desperately needed the height of this tent. I can't bend and stretch in tight places anymore. If you are looking for one that will not problematic, I spoke with Ultra yield and the zipper probs were a bad run and it has been rectified. Put it up today. I told my son not to use the directions. While I'm unfolding the tent to build the frame in the tent floor, he was assembling the with the instructions 🙄 No need for me to look for light leaks... This tent is built like a tank. Oh thank God no more stooping. I'm that age now! ... show more

I purchased this 5x5 tent over others for the thickness. The thickness is about the same to all the other tents. Access from one side. To get access to the back you must undue each left and right side zipper to get to the back.
