This rug is sooooooo soft the fur is long and cozy however it gets sucked up into the vacuum I also had another color of this same rug and decided to wash it and it was not the same after I don't recommend washing these rugs !

This rug is super duper soft. It's like the old shag carpets but way softer. I would not say it is thick or dense, the fibers are pretty thin where you can see the backing pretty well. It is cushioned and very soft to walk on, and the backing has some anti-slip stuff but not really that grippy. This rug fits in our washing machine. It's not top quality, but it works for our rental home just fine.
