All the plumbing was well-machined and screwed together effortlessly. Awesome!! Can’t imagine not having this now!! Bidets have been around Europe for an eternity and it’s only recently they’ve become a thing here but that meant a whole other fixture in your bathroom - an Aunt sent one from Italy for my mom years ago and it meant remodeling the bathroom to make room for it and all new plumbing to boot. These toilet mounted ones I just saw for the first time about 6-7 years ago and thought what a great idea. They were a little pricey then and only a few brands came to the forefront. My son has one of those, and I can say this one is by far better and less expensive. His has only one wash - this one has 2, the dial on his sticks up and if you are a larger person ends up poking you in the thigh. This one is to the front and is integrated with the handle so it’s not sticking upwards in the way. His doesn’t seem to have much in pressure control, this one does. And it is thinner where you mount it under the toilet seat so it doesn’t make the seat sit unevenly. Hands down the winner! I have already bought some as gifts and thinking of getting another to put away and have at the ready in case this one breaks! Saves on toilet paper and always clean and fresh- for $20 what are you waiting for- give it a try ! Installation took me 15 minutes and anyone can do it. Step by step instructions included. Over the years, I've purchased several bidets as I have moved around (LA, Honolulu, New York, Massachusetts). This bidet is comparatively the best I've had. The kit is a smart collection and the product design is the most sophisticated. I have purchased bidets that are less expensive and I think the small additional cost of this bidet is definitely worth it because the value of the design makes a bigger difference than the price. The set up was about 10 minutes. It helps if you spend a moment to think about what you can put together before connecting to the toilet. Since I've done this a few times with different bidets, I was able to pause, attach several connectors to the unit, and then have a partially set up unit before I took off the toilet seat. This actually prevented me from taking off the wrong parts from the toilet. There are several options of setting it up, all of which will work, but you'll find that one particular way is the easiest and most effective. Make sure all your connections are tight before turning the water on. I had minimal issues and before you knew it, I was seated and testing the water flow. I found that the on/off knob is much more ergonomic than cheaper alternatives. It also "clicks" to let you know you've properly situated the knob in the 100% OFF position. The flow is very gentle and effective, but can be turned to more intense stream, which is still comfortable, but also improves the cleaning capability of the bidet. If you've never had a bidet, you should definitely get one. I would get this one again, instead of trying others because I had such an easy time putting together the unit. The materials of cheaper ones (like the water tube and single-spout water shooter) are not acceptable for the small price discount. I hope I don't move again, but if I do, instead of tossing an inferior product (like I did others), I'll be taking this one along with me and I'm sure it will last the move. Good luck! ... show more

    • Works great but the inserts at the back are not very durable

I have experience with 4 different kinds of bidet attachments. This is my favorite and the cheapest. The controls are easy to use and understand. The only issue I’ve had is the inserts for the back part that the seat fits through disintegrated. I had the same issue with a previous (different) bidet that this replaced. I ended up 3D printing more durable inserts. I’ve not had this issue with the other two bidets I’ve purchased and installed which had similar inserts but they were both on other toilets. So I think it’s partly that they’re just not very durable and partially the particulars of this particular toilet. This was also a toilet at my workplace so it gets a lot more use and I have no say over which toilet we have there. Other than that the actual bidet portion is the best of the 4 in my opinion ... show more
