I've wanted surround sound for a long time, but the price of rear wireless systems has always turned me away. When I saw how affordable these were I thought it can't hurt to give them a try. Considering the low cost, I'm very satisfied with this system. The sound quality is great and I doubt I'd even be able to tell the difference in quality with these compared to a high-dollar system. I feel like once you hit the "great" sound quality level it's almost impossible to tell the difference between "great" and "exceptional/premium" for the untrained ear. I'm sure the more expensive systems are technically better but this one is so good I doubt I'd even be able to tell the difference. I do wish that this system could be used with my TV remote, but having a 2nd remote (or the phone app) is not the end of the word. The display system that shows you the volume and settings in the front speaker is very basic, but I'm sure that is part of the reason this system is so affordable. Sure, it would be nice to have a fancy LED display but it's not worth the extra cost this would cause in my opinion. The basic display works fine for me. The system was very easy to install, and the packaging was genius and very easy to unpack. But if you're like me and you've never used optical audio cables before let me save you 30 mins of time and a lot of confusion. There are little rubber caps on the end of the cable that need to be removed before you plug it in. I had to take my TV off the wall before I figured that out, lol. Don't expect great things from this soundbar set. But do expect good sound at a very reasonable cost. My setup is in a motorhome, connecting to a Samsung TV via Bluetooth. The sound fills the room, with lots of volume to spare.

Got this surround to upgrade what I had. Should have kept my old sound bar. This one works but not a quality sound. Like a cheap transistor radio Update to this review. Tried everything to get this product to work to my satisfaction, but just never got good sound from it. The manufacturer made it right with me by exchanging for another, better unit.     • Surround sound would not setup
I went to setup this sound bar and was not able to get the remote to get the soundbar into surround sound setup. Tried get someone on support from the company but got an auto generated response that they are really busy to try again tomorrow. So at that point I contacted Amazon and all they could do was refund me or wait until I hear back from support for a new remote that could take up to 2-3 days. You are also not able to use a Fire Tv remote to run this soundbar since the company is not listed when trying to set that up. I would not purchase this brand again. ... show more

The A40 is an awesome system!!! Very good sound for smaller speakers, and downloading the app gives you access to customize your sound system for your TV, music, movies, etc. Came professionally packaged, with easy set up!!!
