I am soooo glad I ordered this!! I needed something comfortable for my music room and after comparing different bean bags I went with the Ultimate Sack 6000 with footstool. I was somewhat nervous after reading some reviews but took the leap. Let me address some of these negative reviews. First off, the so called "bad smell". This thing is loaded with memory foam. Memory foam is man made. That means chemicals. Your new car, couch, wallpaper all have a chemical smell at first. This bag has a slight smell that goes away after a few days. Seriously not even that bad I've smelled worse at the tire store when getting new tires. Such a silly thing to complain about. Secondly the other biggest complaint is under filling. If you would take the time to watch a YouTube video you would know the bag needs a little help. Grab the kids, grandkids or angsty teenagers and have them start beating on the foam. Pull it apart. Flip the bag , toss the bag. The more you manhandle it the quicker it fluffs up. You can't just take it from the box, plop it on the floor and wait 3 days. Yes it's super heavy and the 6000 is humongous but recruit some helpers and you'll be fine. For the price this thing is excellent quality. The inner canvas liner is very well made. The outer cover is soft and removable. The zippers are heavy and strong. The footstool is a must with the 6000. You just plop down and the bag conforms to your body. I use a throw pillow behind my head and with my legs on the footstool I'm ready to zone out for hours. If you were hesitant on buying this I'm telling ya to go for it. I'm a thrifty person and this is one purchase I don't regret.

The bean bag sat for 4-5 days and didn’t fluffy up like the picture. It doesn’t stay fluffy when you sit on it either, it sinks down almost to the ground. UPDATE: Messaged company telling them I didn’t want to return it, but would like extra filling, and they sent me more filling. It arrived 3 days after message. The bean bag is very fluffy now.

This chair is great. I fixed up the spare bedroom to be a reading/relaxing room and this chair fits perfectly and is very comfortable. You sink in and are supported at the same time. It is big and fits one large adult perfectly. Would fit two adults to cuddle. The foot stool is a must buy because it extends the platform of the chair and you have someplace to rest your feet it you want to stretch out.

Positives: We were looking for a large beanbag for our movie room and we did our research and this one kept coming back in the top 2. Lovesac was the competitor- although not in price. My friend has a lovesac and that is really why we started looking, my girls loved it! I however could not bring myself to spend $1000 on a beanbag chair (yes I know it isn't technically a bean bag chair- but you know what I mean). So I went on the hunt for an alternative and came across this one. So glad I did - it is amazing and honestly more comfortable than the lovesac. More importantly it came with a foot stool included and a cover and was 1/4 the price of a lovesac. If you want a large comfortable place to lounge or watch movies - look no further this is the one!! Negatives: ONLY thing I can say that is remotely negative is that I do have to fluff it up every couple of days and when you get the largest one it is very heavy for one person to do alone.

I ordered this because it seemed like a cheaper alternative to a Lovesac. It is, and the quality seems alright. The only problem? As soon as I broke the vacuum seal and started expanding the beanbag, it filled the room with the stench of tuna. Not just a faint odor, a whole scent bomb of albacore. It’s been almost a week since it arrived, and since, I’ve sprayed half a can of Febreeze and two cans of Glade on it, and inside the liner. I’ve stuffed 20 or so Bounce sheets in between the liner and the cover. I’ve unzipped it and sprayed for minutes at a time. The stench is still there. I seriously wonder how badly the packagers have messed up to lead to this. How on earth does a fresh, new beanbag smell so strongly of fish? Was it packaged near fish? Was it shipped with fish? I’ve considered returning it, but since I opened it and expanded the vacuum seal, there is no way I’ll be able to fit it back in the box. Shipping it back would probably cost more than a new one when it’s 6’ by 6’. I would get my money back if I could, but that would probably require me to ship it back. For now, I hope the smell will eventually go away, so I can finally sit on it without smelling like I need a douche. Honestly, it’s probably only my beanbag, because no other review that I’ve seen has mentioned such an occurrence. I wouldn’t even write a review unless something like this happened. Honestly, the size is great, it’s comfortable, and it’s well built. The zipper is high quality and it shipped fast. My only issue is the smell, but it’s horrendous. It fills my entire apartment.
