I was looking for an LED light that lit up my face enough dad you could see me clearly and that it wasn't too bright that made me look white will try and good video myself on the go. It takes two AA batteries and it has three hot shoe mount that makes it nice to mount other accessories like a microphone as I do in these pictures. It is nice that it is adjustable meaning you can dim and brighten the light up and at full brightness it is plenty for what I'm looking for. I like this light but some may say that it's not bright enough for their needs but that's why there's different types of Lights with more LEDs. But for a single point and shoot light it will light you up plenty in pitch dark. The third picture is a picture of myself in a pitch dark room but with this LED light on and I think it lights up the room plenty to see me clearly and some of my background . I recommend this lights and I might get another one. The price for this light is very reasonable and it's well made. ... show more

Dimmable dial is a nice addition. Very bright for its size (as long as you’re using good batteries) and the shoe mounts stay steady/sturdy with additional equipment connected. A versatile, cheap and convenient piece of equipment.

This is the best bang for the buck, it’s actually a LOT brighter then I thought. Will it illuminate your whole photo shoot or film project? NO! But it has cold shoe openings where you can attach more if needed, so 2-3 of these together will definitely get the job done. I’m using this for vlogging, and urban exploring both indoors and outdoors, and for indoors one will do. 3 of them together will get the job done for outdoors….definitely a great deal. It’s also super light, and make sure to use good batteries to get full power of the light. ... show more

I didn't give this a battery life rating because it depends on the batteries that you put into it. It does get very bright and you can change the brightness level, buuuuuut it never lasts long. My issue is that it doesn't hold it's highest brightness for that long and always dims down. And sometimes it'll flicker, which isn't great. But if you're looking for a cheap light to have for photos rather than video, then this one might be for you. ... show more

I bought 2 of these LED video lights to use with my DJI Osmo Pocket. Since it is a compact gimbal camera, I didn't want anything bulky, and these were perfect. They take 2 AA batteries and are a terrific value for the price. They're brighter than expected and have a wheel button to control the brightness or dimness.
