I have used shade cloth for a very long time. Usually i have bought it with no borders or grommets and just put in my own. I decided on this because it was partially in front of the house and wanted a nicer look. The borders and grommets are very well attached. I believe it's 90% shade so helped to block the sun and as an added benefit gave better privacy, it was easy to install with zip ties, i think it looked very good and covers the area i wanted it to. Easy install. One person but two is better. I put mine up fast and now I wish I planned a little better. I didn’t cut but over lapped. But I love the privacy and knocks down the wind. You can still see under the rails but I’m going to cover with furniture and extras. I bought 4 2.5 x 9 to wrap around. good quality and holds up on windy days and rain. I realize that this is supposed to be for kids, but I actually got it for one of my fur babies. She wants to hop off the side of the wheelchair ramp when we go outside and obviously I can't follow. This is a great idea because it keeps her from getting through the railing. I really appreciate that it is not permanent in case we need to take it down one day. It was super easy to install and it came with matching zip ties. I was a little concerned that it would not work outside, but it has held up well.
