Took a bit to put together and was missing a few screws, but when it finally got put together, it’s fairly sturdy and looks really nice. Regarding The clothes pole inside I would not hang too many heavy things on it, but does the trick for extra storage-I would recommend.

This is definitely a 2 person job. This item comes in two boxes. It also comes with a small screwdriver/Allen key but there is nothing to use the Allen key on. It doesn't matter because I used a screwdriver and a drill. I set the screwdriver at lvl 4 power to not over tighten or strip the screens. The directions are in basic diagram format. Some placements are difficult to see but if you look at the images as whole, you'll figure it out. It took me a few hours to put together. I did it by myself. The second person comes in handy when lifting the top onto the base. It looks nice, but it would never survive a trip in a moving truck. ... show more

Gave 3 stars b/c its missing 1 of the shelves! Part #13. Definitely double check that everything is there! Seems sturdy. Basic "IKEA"-like assembly. So I imagine it might wear down over time. May need to tighten screws yearly. Super heavy! (But expexted for such a piece of furniture) Definitely requires two people to move and assemble! Came in 2 heavy packages. My delivery folks were great and careful about delivery (saw them on my cameras). But I could see how this would be tough for just 1 person to deliver without a handcart! ... show more

This is a terrible piece of furniture. The holes aren’t threaded and it fell apart when we were building it. This is NOT user error, my husband is a professional builder and can assemble a piece of furniture in his sleep. He was shocked at how unstable this piece of furniture is. Part 13 snapped completely in half too!! I would give zero stars if I could, I just wasted my money. I wasn’t even able to get a replacement part for 13 without having to return the entire item. There is no way I’d be able to go and return this, it’s broken!! ... show more
