My only regret is that they only allow you to buy 1 at a time unless you buy bulk. Quick delivery, great packaging and works out of box. Your speed is dependent on service your wifi system but this is giving me in excess of 300mbs dowload/50mbs upload. For here, That's Great. So Great buy and especially at the price.

I tried unsuccessfully installing this on both a Windows 10 and Windows 11 machine. In each instance the setup file will not run, but "hangs" resulting in an endless spinning mouse cursor. Also, with the dongle inserted, the PC will not shutdown or startup. When shutting down, it goes to the shutdown screen but never shuts down until the dongle is removed. When starting up, it shows the Windows boot screen but never gets past that until the dongle is removed.

The Wi-Fi adapter from UGreen is not as PnP (plug and play) as I prefer and requires running Setup.exe to install a driver before restarting the system to make it work. When the adapter is first plugged in to a USB-A port, it appears as a drive (G: in my case). Run "setup.exe" and let it complete then reboot the computer (mine is running Windows 11). Once the computer reboots, you can see the new Wi-Fi adapter under Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections. I set a static IP addresses for both of the Wi-Fi adapters at this point and used one for the host and the other for a VM (virtual machine). This approach allows the VM to have a dedicated adapter which makes using things like Docker work better. The adapter manual (if you can call it that) is a couple of paragraphs of text in multiple languages so you need to find the "EN" section if using English. The font used is tiny and the manual doesn't match what's happening with the actual product. For example, the manual shows a USB dongle with an antenna with step to adjust (there is no external antenna on the dongle) and refers to installation steps that don't occur (like selecting a computer). The dongle worked fine for me at a range of 20 feet (6m) with line-of-sight to the router. After installing the driver, it took several restarts before the adapter worked (and I'm not sure why). I was almost ready to give up when suddenly the UGreen Wi-Fi appeared - thus the 4 stars. NOTE: It is best if your router supports Wi-Fi 6 but it probably works fine on routers that don't support Wi-Fi 6.

Page claims Linux compatibility, but the chip set doesn't have a native driver. It required a lot of research to find out how to get the driver to install without Windows dual boot. After an hour trying to get it to work, it finally installed. Once working, it jad surprisingly good range for it's size.
