i specifically purchased this for the Samsung Tab S8+. the stand is very nice, well made. it feels good in hand and looks equally good. it is light weight yet due to the inner plastic rails is sturdy so you can hold it by the corner with one hand and it won't flex or deform. the Tab S8+ is a 12" tablet but fits this perfectly. i also included a pic of this stand with a 10" samsung tablet to show that it fits well too. the groves or wave pattern at the bottom does a great job giving you whatever viewing angle you works best for you. it is light weight so resting on your lap it never becomes overly heavy or uncomfortable. i have used a good half dozen similar type stands over the years and none come close to being as good as this one. not only would i not hesitate to purchase again if needed i have recommended it to my family. my niece has had hers now for a couple weeks and is just as pleased as i was. to sum things up, if you need one of these look no further. ... show more

This item is perfect for me while I am recovering from a foot surgery. I had to keep my foot elevated and I could use this to hold my iPad on my lap while reading, etc. The ridges hold my large iPad perfectly. I’ve even used it with my iPhone. I purchased three of these for a road trip to use to put tablets and phones on and they worked great for that purpose. I constantly worry about my kids necks and posture when looking down at tablets. I had hoped that they would double as pillows if they wanted to take a nap but I found that the foam was too firm to actually work as a pillow or for lumbar support. However they did work well for tablet stands and I had the added assurance that they were soft so in the event of an accident hopefully they would not hurt anyone. After the road trip I considered putting them away with travel stuff but decided that I would encourage my children to keep using them at home because I I'm constantly reminding them to hold their tablets higher so that they will not have neck problems when they're older like me ha. I would recommend these. They work well and i expect that they should last a very long time. I can't imagine what could go wrong wrong with them. Perhaps the foam will compress over many many years? I imagine we will have them until we get sick of them and get rid of them. ... show more

Have another one that does not have the ridges to hold the Ipad in place and it is basically worthless as the Ipad slides down and off the pillow. This one keeps that from happening.
