Even with a heavier item such as my 11" iPad pro. It doesn't slide around so you can work on your tablet, and it will hold its place. Stand is well made, sturdy and works well on desk/table. This version is "value engineered" from previous model that had the hinge at both the top and base for more versatile adjustment as well as folding up for easier packing in a suitcase or bag. So they saved the cost of the extra hinge.

I was in need of a good stand for my 10 “ iPad, to avoid having to hold it up or use it flat on a table. The Omoton stand is perfect for my uses. It is heavy and sturdy, with adjustable viewing angles that keep the bottom of the tablet some 2 inches plus above my workspace. Adjustment of viewing angles are smooth and secure, with the ledge of the stand measuring about 1 inch deep and over 4 inches wide and over 4 inches tall. It works well on my iPad in an horizontal or vertical orientation and is quite sturdy. There is a hole in the back of the stand to run wires or cables, if needed.
