  • As good as it's advertised
Style: Ugreen Powerroam 1200
6/5/22 At this time of this review I have it for 1.5 weeks. Pros - Charging was very fast it's pulling about 1100 watt for the first 80% then the last 20% it dropped to protect the battery. Overall it can fully charge in about 1- 1.5 hrs. - During the charge the fan was super quiet. I can feel light breeze coming out from the fan unit but I couldn't hear the noise. - I mainly used it to power my 12V portable fridge which use ~80 watt and with timer to warm up our food on the hot plates (90 watt) so when we get back from hiking or during long drive trip, we had hot food ready to eat. We didn't hear the fan during discharge. Again the fan was very quiet, none of us in the car could hear it. - The unit is about 25 pounds, it's very light. Me and my wife don't have problem handling it - I tried the USB ports to charge our ipads/iphones, no issue. The panel displayed clearly how many watts were using and how many hours left. - I tried charging 2 Bose soundlink via USB ports but they failed but if I charged them using power adaptors via AC ports then they worked fine. I think it's Bose device that requires power adaptor. - I tried charging it using Grecell Solar Panel 200W and it worked fine - The apps worked fine when it connected - I haven't tried out the USB-C port so no comment there - I haven't used it for UPS so no comment there - I haven't used larger appliances on the unit but I don't see why it wouldn't work as long the required wattage stays within the specified range. - In emergencies like power outage, I plan to use my solar panel to charge the unit and if it's not enough to support all our needs then I also have gas generator as a backup. Cons - What I don't like is the handle that didn't sit flush to the unit but that didn't deter our purchase. Unsure - I'm still trying to figure out the apps and connection. When connected it's no problem, however if I'm out of range and get back in range, it doesn't automatically connect. I have to force connect and if for some reason the button IOT turned off by itself when I'm not in range there is no way to reconnect, I have to go to the unit and press that button to turn WIFI/Bluetooth on then manually reconnect again. I'm still new to the unit. I will have to play it a few more weeks to confirm this. So far so good it checked all the boxes and satisfied our needs. Fast charging, hold the charge well, light portable and quiet fan, reasonable price were what we needed. Only time will tell. If this starts to fail, I will update the review. ... show more

  • Used this within 3 weeks of purchase. It worked great.
Style: Ugreen Powerroam 1200+1*200W Solar Panel
I bought this due to living in a rural area with questionable electrical power stability. We often have power outages during storms and being on the end of the line we are usually last to have our power restored. The average time is about 10 hours. 3 weeks after purchasing this, we had a storm and lost power for over 12 hours. This unit powered our TV and Starlink internet, a couple of lights and a fan for over 5 hours until we went to bed. We still had 73% of the power left in the unit. The next day I used the solar panels to charge it back to full just to make sure the system worked and it completely recharged in less than an hour. I’m really happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Impressed
Style: Ugreen Powerroam 1200+1*200W Solar Panel
This unit arrived superbly packed in its own box then inside a shipping box arriving safely… Then I was quite impressed with the features that were on this unit… It charged quickly when plugged into a working electrical outlet and the display showed battery percentage and how many hours of power it would have left for the wattage of whatever you wish to plug in… I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a solar powered battery pack to keep essentials plugged in during power outages or for camping… Love it… * - I gave it 4 stars as I have yet to see how well the solar panel charges up the unit… Look for an update. ... show more

  • Well designed and well built power station
Style: Ugreen Powerroam 1200
I spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect power station for my needs. This one pretty much checked all of my boxes. For the capacity, the size of this power station is very nice. It's still quite heavy but extremely manageable. Fan noise is nonexistent unlike some other power stations I've tried out. The display is very nice and shows lots of detailed information. I also really like the design language of this, very understated but still looks and feels high quality. It also came with a small carrying bag for all of the included cables, very nice! The app experience is pretty good, however I have yet to get the device to stay connected to a Wi-Fi network. When connecting with Bluetooth, it forgets the device every time you disconnect which is a little annoying. ... show more

  • Does not run microwaves turbo does not work for advertised watts
Style: Ugreen Powerroam 1200+1*200W Solar Panel
Update looks like they changed their description. That said Not at all what the original description said. So beware. I am unhappy with their false advertising. I bought this for my camper to run the microwave. It says can run a 1000 watt microwave in the ad. Their customer support also answered that it would in the Q&A section. That said it doesn’t. I knew something was up when I opened it up and read the instructions manual and one of the first things it says is that it may not be able to run microwaves and other high wattage start up products however it doesn’t say that in the ads and they specifically as I mentioned above said it would run a 1000 W microwave well I have an 900 W microwave and it cuts off. I contacted customer service and they said that it was pulling three times the watts at start up which would be 2700 W which is over there advertised 2500w So I purchased a 600w microwave as that would be 1800 Well upon start up I was at 1750 W with a 600 W microwave and again it went to the shut off and turn itself off as not to damage the microwave or the unit doing what it supposed to do. I plugged in many appliances such as a hot plate and various other high wattage items this thing can’t run over 1500 W it’s advertised at 1200w sustained and can go to 2500 for a short amount of time it’s just not true and electric Amazon kettle is about the only thing I can get to go and that’s at 1280w and I’ll run that pretty well haven’t had any issues other than that it works great but this company clearly knows that it cannot run higher wattage appliances But that’s not what they say on the description that’s not what they saying in questions and answers. as I said you open up their information manual and it’s one of the first things they say is you may not be able to run high wattage appliances. ... show more
