This is a review of the UGreen Echobuds Plus. I have a number of bluetooth headsets and earbuds. Some key items I look for with earbuds are: I want a stable connection to my phone, I want sound quality to be good, they need to stay in place in my ears, and they need to be comfortable enough to wear for at least an hour or two at a time. Overall, I have been quite pleased with these Ugreen Echobuds. The earbuds and case are quite compact. I was able to open the case and get these to pair with my phone easily. Once paired, they easily reconnect whenever I open the case, and the connection is stable. The sound doesn't ever cut out, and I haven't faced any random disconnects since I've been using these. I've used these on some calls, but mostly I have used them for watching videos, listening to music, and listening to podcasts. The sound quality has been very good. The audio is in sync with video. Music and spoken audio are very clear and understandable. If desired, there is an app that can be used to adjust controls, noise cancelation, sound profiles, etc. Earbud fit is an important item for me, and it is hard for me to find earbuds that both fit and are comfortable. The Ugreen echobuds succeeded on both accounts. They come with multiple sizes of tips to accommodate different sizes. For me, the default tips happened to work well. When I put them in my ears, they fit well and stay in place until I decide to remove them. They have also been quite comfortable. I am prone to discomfort with earbuds, but these didn't give me any issues. They stayed comfortable, even with prolonged use. As a bonus, they also look good. They look like any quality, unobtrusive earbuds. At the time of this review, the price make these earbuds a great value, especially since they have performed like other higher-end earbuds I've used. They sound great, they are comfortable, and the features such as noise cancelation work well. I will continue to use these. The battery life has been so good that I have barely noticed it. Charging is done using any USB-C cable and is fast when needed. The case has been durable enough to just throw in my pocket and has shown no signs of wear. If you are looking for high-quality earbuds at a good value, I recommend these.

I'll admit I don't normally associate UGREEN with earbuds. For me, they're a company known for charging accessories, cables, and docking stations, so I was curious to see how they'd do in a much more competitive category. The biggest surprise was the overall build quality. Everything from the charging case to the earbuds themselves feels more refined than I expected at this price point. The case has a solid feel, the hinge closes positively, and the earbuds seat securely while charging. They don't have the premium feel of earbuds costing two or three times as much, but they certainly don't feel cheap either. Sound quality is solid. If you're expecting them to compete with high-end Sony, Bose, or Apple earbuds, that's probably unrealistic. But within their price range, they perform well. The tuning leans more toward clarity than heavy bass, which actually worked well for podcasts, movies, and everyday listening. Vocals are clear, and dialogue is easy to understand without sounding muddy. UGREEN also advertises Hi-Res Audio and LDAC support. While those technologies are certainly a plus if your device supports them, I'd keep realistic expectations. At the end of the day, these are still $40 earbuds, and physics still applies. They sound good, but they aren't going to replace a quality set of premium headphones. The adaptive ANC also met my expectations. It won't completely isolate you from the outside world like premium flagship earbuds, but it does a good job reducing the normal background noise you'd encounter in an office, on public transportation, or while walking around town. It removes enough ambient sound to make listening more enjoyable without trying to compete with earbuds that cost several times more. Comfort was good during the time I wore them. They fit securely, stayed in place, and never felt like they were constantly working their way loose. I didn't do an all-day wear test, so I can't comment on extended comfort, but my initial impression was very positive. Battery life also turned out to be excellent. I didn't run them through a full laboratory-style endurance test, but in normal everyday use I was getting roughly two days before reaching for the charging case again, which is more than enough for my routine. Bluetooth pairing was quick and straightforward, and the companion app is well laid out without feeling cluttered. I appreciated having easy access to EQ settings, ANC modes, and the other customization options instead of digging through confusing menus. Overall, these don't try to outperform earbuds that cost several times more, and that's perfectly fine. Instead, they deliver a well-rounded package with good sound, effective noise cancellation, solid battery life, quality construction, and a polished app experience at a price that makes them easy to recommend.

These earbuds are an amazing balance of features, quality and price. There are without a doubt better earbuds, but at this price point these represent a lot of value and 80-90% of the experience of premium earbuds that cost 4x the price. The pairing process was straightforward and took maybe 30 seconds to open the case and connect them to my phone. The case is a little oddly designed, such that it opens near the bottom of the case rather than halfway up the case. Additionally, there isn't a great place to grab onto and open the lid. This makes opening the case with one hand possible but a little challenging. The sound quality is on par with good bluetooth headphones though lacks some bass and overall fullness compared to premium earbuds. These earbuds are lightweight and fit my ears great, I didn't have any issues with them coming out overtime or getting uncomfortable after a few hours of use. Battery life is good enough that it's essentially a nonissue. The buds lasts hours upon hours and the case can charge the buds several times over. The ANC is really impressive, especially given the price. It almost eliminates the fan or AC noise and is about 85-90% of the noise canceling compared to much more expensive products. The ambient mode which brings in external sound using the mics is unimpressive in comparison. The mics don't pick up enough of the ambient sound to make the experience sound natural. It feels compressed and I had trouble listening to others, often requiring me to remove the earbud. The controls on the device are easy enough, play/pause and holding to cycle between ANC, Normal and Ambient modes. There is also a double and triple tapping to skip and enter gaming mode but I haven't noticed much of a difference between gaming and regular mode. The controls can have some latency and don't give any haptic or physical feedback so I do notice that sometimes I end up unsure of if the button signal worked and wait for a second or so before I get feedback from my music or podcast that its paused. Not a dealbreaker but not a premium experience. Overall, while these are not the perfect pair of earbuds, for the price I think these are an excellent option especially for the quality of ANC these buds have. If I did have to offer some tips, I would recommend making sure the case is easier to open one handed with a less seamless case that makes opening the case easier. I would also recommend improving the ambient mode and adding some sort of physical or low latency haptic feedback that I did press the buttons.

This is a great pair of budget wireless earbuds! They sound very good and could compete against some 100+ dollars earbuds. The only thing that shows their price is the touch controls that are not very intuitive. If they opted for button controls, it would have performed better and would be acceptable at this price. The most impressive part of these earbuds after the sound quality is the battery life. They usually last me all day and much more longer than my AirPods I used to use. I am getting about 10 hours of use in 25% volume level. Speaking of the volume, the volume level is a little weird as it gets loud very quickly on the first 25% but after that it plateaus to a volume that is acceptable but may not be enough for people who like to listen to music with very loud volume. They are very comfortable to wear and the fitment is great because they come with a bunch of ear tips from XS to XL size. I used the XS and it fits me very good and goes deep in my ear canal and I don’t have to raise the volume too much to hear at 25% volume. As far as the active noise canceling, it’s adequate and will not blow you away but blocks out most of the low frequency loud noise. The transparency mode also works well but not to the level of higher end ear buds.

Nice little earbuds. Noise cancelling is pretty good, as is the overall sound quality. You can toggle between NC mode on, off, or ambient sound passthrough mode. Noise cancelling will mute things like fans and other ambient white noise, but it didn't quiet voices very much in my testing. The fit is okay. I have rather small ears, so finding earbuds that are actually comfortable for long periods is particularly difficult for me. It comes with some different bud sizes, though the actual plastic body of the earbuds were still a bit too big for long-term wear for me. They feel tolerable for at least an hour or two for me, though. Pairing was simple and painless. They autoreconnect when taken out of the charging case once paired, and I haven't had any connectivity issues so far.

I was genuinely impressed by these earbuds. I already own several chargers, cables, and power banks from this company, but I wasn't expecting them to produce earbuds that sound this good. The audio quality is excellent and, in my opinion, competes with earbuds that cost three to five times as much. As someone who owns several of those more expensive models, I found myself questioning some of my past spending decisions. They're lightweight, comfortable, and include an impressive assortment of silicone ear tips, making it easy to find a good fit. The setup and connectivity to my iPad and then to my Pixel phone was easy, and I did not have any problems changing the paring between the two devices. There are a couple of drawbacks. The touch controls have noticeable latency, which can be confusing. I occasionally tapped a second time because I thought nothing had happened, only to discover the first tap was just fashionably late, causing me to activate a different function instead. My other complaint is the charging case. It's incredibly smooth. That may look sleek in the marketing photos, but in the real world it translates to, "Congratulations, you've designed a tiny polished pebble that wants to leap out of my hand every time I open it." It looks premium, but I'd happily trade a little of that smooth finish for some extra grip. Overall, though, the sound quality is outstanding, especially at this price point. These have easily become one of the biggest pleasant surprises I've tried.

I’m really pleased with the Ugreen Echobuds. They have that classic stem design, look classy, and fit comfortably with the right ear tips. They stay put for a couple of hours, though after a run I noticed the left bud needed occasional readjustment—likely just my ears and sweat, but something I haven’t experienced with other buds. On the bright side, the IPX5 rating handles sweat just fine. The case is small, pocket‑friendly, and never feels bulky. With Bluetooth 6.0, they’re future‑ready and stay reliably connected even at long distances. I’ve had virtually no interruptions or lag, especially with gaming mode enabled. Audio quality exceeded my expectations. The sound is punchy and clear across bass, mids, and highs, and you can fine‑tune everything with the full EQ in the app. Adaptive noise cancellation is decent but not top‑tier—lower‑frequency noises like crowds and airplane engines still come through. Ambient mode, however, is very natural and pleasant. Spatial audio is fun where supported, though still not quite there in my experience. Call quality is excellent. Voices come through clearly, wind noise is almost nonexistent, and my voice sounds full without that “underwater” effect. Battery life is solid at around 8 hours with ANC/Ambient and occasional calls, plus multiple recharges from the case and a handy quick‑charge option. They’re not perfect, but they deliver great audio, useful ANC/ambient modes, and superb call quality—all at a very appealing price.
