I'm going to try to write a very in depth review here to help demystify some of the quirks about hair removal and this device. I'll seperate the sections and hopefully this will be helpful for many of you. First - the device itself: It works AMAZINGLY well if used correctly and i would say if you're hesitant on getting one of these units, stop hesitating and go for it right now. The results I'm seeing already are pretty dramatic and i'm very happy with the unit. Its very powerful, in fact I dont think you could use too much more power. on the highest setting, each blast is about as powerful as you could stand in sensitive areas and there's occasionally a burning hair smell. That's praising its power not knocking it. In most areas the highest setting is NOT uncomfortable. If I had to list any cons I would say the device does get quite hot to hold during longer sessions and the buttons are easy to accidentally press. Its also a little slow, the higher the setting the slower it goes with level 9 only bursting every 3.5 seconds. This combined with the small 3cm area it covers makes a session take pretty long. I have very long muscular legs which results in alot of surface area. I actually measured the area and did the math and with zero overlap it takes about 1 full hour to cover one leg (at the 3.5 bursts per second) and you want a little overlap too so each leg ends up being about 1hr 15mins for me. So yes it is slow and hot but the results are definitely worth it and I still highly recomend it. Hair removal in general: In general its important to remember the process itself (even if you go to a spa and pay thousands) is a slow process. its not so much about the device its more limited by the way hair grows. Hair grows in stages and its only suspectable to being zapped at a certain stage and portions of your hair is in different stages. So the hair you're zapping today is different hair than the hair you zapped last week. So it takes at least 4 weeks to actually zap all your hair even if you try using it more it really wont be effective because your hair needs time to change from stage to stage. So it does take patience but doing a session can become pretty routine. I watch TV while I use one hand to hold the device and the other hand to block the flash. I have a schedule (arms one day, chest next day, left leg next day, right leg next day, back and shoulders next day etc) which helps me get the whole job done once a week and even just 3 weeks in I'm seeing dramatic results. As far as comfort, in most areas it just feels like a fast blast of heat which isnt uncomfortable at all. in sensitive areas it feels like each hair transmits a small electric shock down into your skin which can be pretty rough but its not intolerable and you can always turn it down if you need to. Overall I'm extremely happy with the unit. it works great and I wish I had gotten one a long time ago. It is hot to hold and slow but the results are 100% worth waiting for.

Really comfortable hair remover

I got this hair remover for my wife since she was unhappy with other hair removers. In just a few treatments she's already reported significantly less hair regrowth and slower too. She's especially enjoyed using this since the built in cooling function works so well and makes treatment much more pleasant and she's had no skin irritation with this model. The kit includes everything you need which was nice. Overall very happy with it and well worth the price.

Great at-Home Hair Removal Device

The gold design looks sleek and feels comfortable to hold during longer sessions. The ice cooling feature is a great addition because it helps keep the skin feeling cooler and more comfortable during treatment. I noticed that the treatment was much more comfortable than I expected, especially on my legs. The device is simple to operate and the controls are easy to understand. I like that it can be used on different areas such as the legs, bikini area, underarms, and face. After a few sessions, I started noticing that the hair was growing back more slowly and appeared finer. Great for touch ups!

I did full body laser almost 15 years ago. And in the past few years i’ve started i needed some “touch ups” in some areas! The cooling feature you don’t feel it after a few shots I imagine because the device warms up. Comparing it to the profesional device I had my laser done way back then, the highest (9) on this device feels like the lowest on the pro one. It is not painful but it feels like a hot rubberband is snapping constantly against your skin so after a few passes it does become a little bothersome! And the results are good if you follow the scheme they suggest on the instructions (my girl-stache is gone in 8 weeks, like 100% gone!)

Don’t waste your money

Extremely disappointed! I used this device once just to test it and then used it for about 10 minutes the next time. After that, it stopped turning on completely. The device still lights up and appears to charge when plugged in, but it will not actually power on or operate. I’ve tried contacting the brand through Amazon’s customer service chat, which claims support is ‘available 24/7’ but every time I get a message saying the brand’s support is currently unavailable no matter what time of day I reach out. For a device at this price point, I expected much better reliability and customer support. Unfortunately, it ended up being a huge waste of money.

Easy to use and comfortable!

I received this IPL hair removal device a few days ago and have already started using it. So far, I’m very happy with it. The device is easy to hold, the controls are simple to understand, and the cooling feature makes the sessions feel much more comfortable on the skin. It works but the cooling effect has died down

I’ve had this product for about four months now. And yes, it works, the once thick Hair on my downstairs area, and in my armpits, barely grow back, and if it does grow back, the hair is very thin and honestly, I’m not that consistent with it either way. This has helped with thick hair as well as large ingrown hairs because it makes the hair thinner so the hairs don’t irritate my skin as much. Although this product works, there is a slight issue. The cooling effect that it use to have no longer stays cool for as long as it did in the beginning. So now when I’m doing sensitive areas, especially like my downstairs. It hurts like hell, so I make sure to do these areas first. So yeah, the product is pretty cheap and it works but at what cost? Also I always use it on level nine for full effect that maybe I should turn my levels down a bit…
