I have a small studio in my loft that is rather dark lit. This tripod allows me to see my art in a fluorescent and more striking light while recording videos for my page. Would recommend.

Updated Review: After my initial review, I was contacted by the seller and offered a replacement product in order to revise my original review. Within 2 days of receiving the replacement product, I had the same problem as the original. My husband uses this light extensively during Zoom meetings while working from home full time. Within 2 days, the foam tape holding the LED tape had released and the LED tape would lean against the light diffuser, making individual diodes visible and overly bright. I dismantled the original light that was received and removed as much of the foam tape as I could without damaging the LED tape ring. I replaced the original foam tape with 3M VHB double-sided foam tape and after several days of continuous use, I have not had any problems. Overall, this is a great light if you are taking selfies for social media, but the adhesive used is not suitable for extended use of the light for video conferencing while working from home. I really like that you can change the color temperature of the light and the brightness to suit many different environments. After my modifications it works great as a light source for video conferencing, but be aware that if you intend to use the light for 6-8 hours per day, 5 days per week, you will need to use a better adhesive tape. Popping off the light diffuser is fairly simple, and the LED tape was already separated from the back panel. I removed the top layer of the foam tape without damaging the LED ring and used the 3M VHB tape in small pieces around the ring. Replacing the light diffuser cover is a bit challenging for 1 person because you have to apply even pressure to the entire ring to snap it back into place. It was a simple procedure with 2 people. Overall, the tripod and included phone holder have had zero problems and I think the tripod is really high quality. Original Review: I was pretty impressed with this product at first because it was a competitive price and appeared to be a really good quality. After a couple months of use, the LED strip comprising the ring inside the light has detached from the back piece and is loose inside. This makes it fall forward against the diffuser and makes it too bright in areas with individual LEDs showing. I'm going to have to try and separate the cover to get to the internals and glue the LED strip back down to the backing. Which means something will likely break or I'll find the cover is glued on vs snap on and it will not be repairable.

I'd been looking around for one of these for awhile and after reading reviews I picked this one. My iPhone XR fits in the middle perfectly (also fits the larger iphones and androids). Can set up camera angle vertical or horizontal and it sits in the middle of the ring so you don't get any shadow spots. The ring itself was put together already which was nice. Easily assembled to the tripod stand. Very bright, different settings, it's perfect. I even use it just for additional lighting when it's nighttime. BEST PART OF IT: the tripod stand is tall. All 3 legs extend out and have clips to keep it in place. I've noticed many other tripod ring lights have the tripod legs at the bottom with a single pole that extends up but they are very sensitive with phones on them because they become top heavy... This tripod stand was perfect because the legs extended, therefore it's not a hassle because the base is much more stable and it doesn't fall over with a phone on it. Only problem I had: the clicker works perfect and very easy to connect. If you have the clicker on and you set it down for awhile it becomes disconnected from my phone. Not a big issue at all.. All I have to do is flip the clicker off and back on and it works again. If you are continuously using it though, there are no issues with it! Packaging it was sent in was nice, they were boxed up inside of the whole shipping box. Nothing was damaged upon arrival. Shipped very quickly, arrived in 2 days. Tripod stand also came with a carrying case. Wall plugin for light is awesome because I'm not having to change out batteries at all for it to have power! Thanks for a great product! Would 100% recommend to others.

Both lights are UBeesize ring lights which I bought in early 2020 (left) and a week ago (right). Left Light: Fragile stand but has never fall over or broken. Holds my phone great without complications. This light is an older version, I think it's a 2019. It didn't come with something to put in-between the ring to hold my phone but that was never a problem. It did its job and the exposure of the light modes were very good. Biggest Con: Cord got shorts in less than a year and I didn't even use it that much. I can't even identify the issue. Right light: This I got last week and I actually love it and hate it at the same time. It's a 2020 model and the exposure of the different light modes are very bright. As you can see, more powerful than the 2019 version. Both ring lights are actually 50" but not extended completely in this photo. The tripod is sturdier than the first purchase and I think the cord adjustment is better. Hopefully it will last longer. Cons: Phone doesn't fit perfect vertically between the ring and the phone holder faces the back of the ring once it is tightened. That actually sucks because the whole point is to be able to use the front camera with maximum light effect. 2. When using the front camera on the ring light, the camera is filled by the light, causing a halo around the camera itself and making me look overexposed and pale. Because of this, I use the left light to hold the phone and the right to project the light.
