I searched a lot for a bath mat I would feel comfortable putting my baby on, trying to find ingredients I felt OK with and no smell. This was it! It sticks well to my metal bathtub. I pull it off and hang to dry every day. It extends almost the full length of my tub, which is fine. The thickness is good and cushy enough. The only suggestion I have for the company is to incorporate a hook into the mat so that you can hang it from the shower head or curtain rod to dry in between uses! We are pretty happy with our bath mat for our 11 month old. He likes to stand up in the tub and this mat keeps him from slipping and sliding around. It’s not bulky, it dries quickly, and doesn’t absorb any water that can create mold or mildew. It’s also pretty easy to clean. If placed in the tub before the tub gets wet, the suction stays fairly well. Once it’s suctioned in well, it doesn’t move or slides only a tiny bit. It’s very easy to put down and take up, but it doesn’t have any kind of loop to hang it to dry so we end up draping it over the curtain rod. We have a standard sized bath tub and it fits perfectly width wise, but it’s about 4 inches too short from end to end. And even if we don’t get it suctioned all the way to start with, when little man pulls on the corners that float up, the reset of the mat stays in place. ... show more

This is our favorite bath mat that we've purchased - ended up buying it 2-3 times now since I try to replace them every 6 months to a year. Cushioned so it's super comfortable for our babies, great size and quality is great. Definitely worth the money and doesn't look too bad either!

I bought this for some cushion and grip at the bottom of the bathtub so my LO could transition from a baby tub basin to the actual bath time. The suction cups work, but they're not all that strong. Sometimes when I step into the shower to rinse my LO off, the mat slips from under my foot. You have to be extra cautious. It's not super cushiony, but at least it creates a barrier between the metal bath tub and my LO's bottom. HOWEVER, I believe that the fact that the cushion is not super thick makes it easier for my LO to balance. I can't say I would buy this again, but it's not all that horrible. ... show more

First, two clarifications: 1.) All mats eventually mold; no exceptions, and this one doesn't promote that growth more than any other I've had, and 2.) I have a smooth-bottom tub and wouldn't expect any mat to adhere to a textured one. Most mats are thin and have many big suction cups that all but tower above the mat and are uncomfortable to stand on with sensitive feet. This one, thank goodness, is a bit thicker and has smaller suction cups with a lower profile. Super slippery for shower and bath, my husband, myself, and the baby all had footing problems on this. Slipped out from under me while trying to sit for a bath. Didn’t stay put no mater what we did. Very displeased with it
