Keyboard works but on some sites or apps the special keys don’t match up with what they say they do, letters are always correct though. I’m not sure I can say this was worth its price, could be cheaper considering the touch and feel of the casing and the noise it makes while touching and closing it. The keys sound fine though, more of a click than a clack which I’m appreciative about. Love the many options of LED lights you can chose from too. I’ve had this for a little over a year and it still works great! Wish the battery life was better, doesn’t last long as I thought it would.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE style cases. Now, I wouldn't call it durable. But the versatility this brings is amazing. Pros: -I like the blue color, goes nicely (a little off color) with my Blue iPad Air. I think this is the better blue to be honest, on the keyboard. -Great typing experience with a trackpad. -Flexibility. Typing mode on a comfortable sized keyboard, movie stand mode, or tablet mode. All while being able to fold it to protect the screen. -Light diffusion. I have astigmatism, meaning double vision. The led lights on these are nice and well diffused. On a lot of the "Cheaper" keyboards, you can REALLY see the individual RED, GREEN, and BLUE LEDS mixing and matching to make colors with a simple head tilt. This does a good job (not amazing) of masking that. -NOT ANNOYING TRI-COLOR ZONE ILLUMINATION; I don't know why or how this became a trend with all of these types of cases but its getting harder and harder to find SINGLE COLOR Backlighting keyboards. Everyone seems to be doing this COLOR BANDING NONSENSE. Now this does have a "rainbow shimmer" mode, but you can choose an all white, all red, all green, etc, keyboard. It's not Red Zone, Yellow Zone, Blue Zone. -Holding the tablet to draw- Oddly does make holding the ipad to draw/write while standing, kind of easy. Cons: -Protection: I don't buy these as a PROTECTION case, I buy it as a keyboard/laptop convertible for my ipad. It's great for protecting the screen and that's about it. -Weight Distribution: Double edged sword this one, though, makes it hard to use this in a lap since the tablet is almost 2x the weight of the case, so it gets top-heavy fast. Conclusion: Great color, great keyboard, great case. After discovering these with the GIANT 12.9 iPads haven't gone back. Just wished they made these for the Samsung line.

I've been very satisfied with this keyboard case and recommend it if you're looking for something to provide a bit of protection to your iPad and need a regular keyboard, or are tired of using the on-screen keyboard... Pluses... + Fits well + Pairs easily + Stylish + Great ergonomics - screen can be positioned for easy viewing for work or presentation + Satisfying keyboard feel + Backlit keys for dimly lit environments + Long battery life + Doesn't add much weight to iPad + Reasonably priced Minuses - The case easily scuffs/shows blemishes - The plastic does not feel substantial (I haven't done a gravity check (yet), but the material feels brittle as if it would easily crack if dropped). Hopefully, my perception is wrong.

Works well. Love the backlit keyboard. Case is plastic, and we anticipate it cracking at some point, so are looking at other carrying cases to help protect it. I'll update if it cracks and/or we find a good carrying case.

A “mini” laptop computer Seriously. Attaching it to my iPad Air 5 turns it into a mini laptop computer and then some. Of course it closes up, but it also folds backward; sort of like a tablet. It can rotate too and whatever position you use, it will stay put. It’s made very well and when your tablet is attached, it’s quite heavy, but it supports it well. It’s not a hassle to attach either. Just drop the iPad into the slot. Coupling it to your specific iPad is easy and you can choose from several, different backlight colors. I’m not at all “techie”. I had no problems with it. I liked it so much that I also bought one for my Air 3. I often use my iPad for my artwork. At those times, the keyboard is unnecessary and actually gets in the way. Because of that and its weight; I uncouple it…but as I said; it’s not an issue recouping it. *Just a Suggestion” I find that sometimes enclosed directions are printed much, too small. You might find it easier to take a capture of them to better see them on your iPad or iPhone when you’re actually coupling the devices or anytime you need to read directions. You’re welcome. 😉

6 months in -- Overall, great product. The hinge has held up well over time, and all of the keys still work just fine. I've had no issues with functionality in that regard. Quirks: The apple pen strap loses its grip over time. My pen slips out with no resistance all the time now so I'll be finding an alternative way to store and carry my pen. This isn't great because I'd really prefer to not lose my expensive apple pen. I find this to be probably the fatal flaw of this particular case. The paint/coating rubs off VERY easily. There are spots that are already rubbed off and ive only had the case for maybe 6 months. The mouse is extremely sensitive. I find myself turning it off most of the time or else I'm accidentally touch clicking everywhere while I'm typing. The keys are relatively loud, which is fine once you get used to it, but I remember that being a little bit annoying when I first got the keyboard.
