The positive reviews are pretty accurate, this is a great product and I’m so glad I purchased this. I have very short, thick course hair and I wanted a flat iron that was 1” wide as I use it to curl my very straight hair. I didn’t notice any pulling or tugging on my hair, but then again I have short -pixie length hair. The plates on it are very smooth and it really does heat up in seconds. My last hair straightener from Home Goods lasted a few years until it recently blew up and started smoking 😳 and I wanted to purchase a new straightener but didn’t want to pay 100.00 or more for a straightener. I’m glad I found this, with a coupon discount. It’s 100X better than my old one and was slightly less expensive. It does have a very quiet high pitched buzzing sound but it doesn’t bother me. However if you have sensory problems, it might bother you. It came with a glove and a sleeve for storage, as well as a couple hair clips. The storage sleeve is my favourite. For the price I paid, I feel this was excellent value and I would highly recommend if you’re shopping for a new hair straightener. The waving feature to turn on is a cool feature, the temp settings on inside are convenient for me because I don’t accidentally change them while holding the item. Be mindful of any plastic covering- remove them before turning on for the first time. I don’t have any cons to list on this product, but I think it’s all personal preference. Quite honestly, it exceeded my expectations, and that’s always a good thing in my opinion.

My straightener randomly stopped working and I needed a new one asap. I did a lot of research before purchasing this one however the fact that it didn’t have a on/off button and heats up just with movement seemed pretty cool. It also turns off after 5 mins of no movement which is a huge plus when you forget to turn it off! It came the next day with prime and it’s a pretty light pink and a very soft velvety feel. It worked like a charm! And I mean better than my brand name straightener that was 100+ and didn’t have a curling option. The heat settings worked perfectly and my hair was silky smooth after the first use. Curls were so much easier to do than I had imagined! Quick and easy! I have very thick wavy blonde hair so a higher setting is silly needed. Not with this one! 340 degrees was perfect. I wish I would have tried it sooner! I’ve spent so much money on other hair straighteners and curlers when this one was a fraction of the cost and did a great job. I don’t use heat on my hair every day but when I do this one is my go to! I would highly recommend. And if it ever does break (after the warranty) I would def purchase another to replace it!

Heats up within seconds. Looks very pretty. Comes with a glove, 2 hair clips and a sleeve for traveling. Packaging is very nice. Downside. The plates are not all that smooth so when doing the beach wave, the hair does not slide easy and there is pulling/tugging. It does curl well. If you want it for just straightening, then this is super. If you want to curl as well, its good but expect some pulling/tugging.

I love the product itself. I personally HATE the color pink, but this wonderful item did not come in another color unfortunately. I chose this one based on the range of heat and the fact that the heat controls are on the inside where you cannot accidentally raise or lower the temperature while using the product. My hair is very fine and flyaway ever since I had chemo for 6 months in 2018. When the hair came back in it was much different from the hair I lost. I was 70 while going though chemo, so my hair had already thinned from the extremely thick, manageable hair of my youth. Now it’s thinner and a bit flyaway and unmanageable. This product makes it more manageable and I can wear it straight or give it a slight curl if it suits my mood. Honestly, there is only one thing I’m not crazy about: when I’ve finished with a section of hair and I allow the unit to open, frequently it pinches my hand when it opens. That’s a problem NOT WORTH taking a star away from the rating. Therefore, it’s still deserving of five stars. I’m just going to need to be more careful when allowing it to open. Another thing that is nice, it truly heats up extremely fast. I let it sit for five minutes to allow it to turn off before unplugging it. Then, allow it to sit and completely cool down before returning it to its lovely grey case. Then I don’t have to see the HATED pink color anymore. LOL 😆

I absolutely love this flat iron. It comes with a thermal sleeve to store the flat iron and a heat resistant glove. 🧤 Never seen anything like it. I recommend it to anyone who hates waiting for the iron to heat up. Just make a wan jester and it comes on with a sound. It also powered off with sound. As far as flat ironing goes it’s awesome. It heats up to 450 degrees and it has a tip at the end so you can hold it while flat ironing your hair without burning your fingers. Great product and very professional.

I have difficult hair to curl and this fid it even without product, so it works very well! A little learning curve since I've never done it with a flat iron but got the hang of it quickly. Lightweight yet sturdy. Heats up fast and the only negative thing I would say is there is no on and off button, just unplug it.
