  • Great bar fridge, happy customer!
Color: Black09 Size: 24" Depth
We’ve been using this fridge for a few months now and are very happy with it. The dual temperature zones are a huge plus—perfect for keeping wine on one side and beer or other drinks on the other. It holds more than expected, and the wood shelves give it a high-end, built-in look. There is a slight hum when it’s running, but it’s not loud or bothersome. One thing to note: the door does need to be closed intentionally, as it can occasionally be left slightly ajar if it doesn’t fully catch. It does include a key lock, which we don’t personally use, but it would be a great feature for households with young kids or valuable wine collections. The seller was excellent to work with, and the unit arrived very well packaged and protected. For less than half the price of similar models at our appliance store, this was an excellent value. It looks expensive, functions beautifully, and fits our bar perfectly. Highly recommend ... show more

  • Great customer service and unit
Color: Silver White01 Size: 24" Depth
The refrigerator is very nice, sleek, and clean with plenty of racks inside for storage. It’s exactly as expected and actually exceeded expectations for an “off brand” or unheard of brand to us. We unfortunately had a defective unit but customer service was exceptional! There was no hassle in supplying info on the issue we had with the unit not cooling and the company was very prompt and quick to satisfy us and quickly offered a replacement unit. We were extremely happy to know they care and are willing to help. Overall the unit is very easy to set up, does not appear to be noisy, and overall good quality for the money. We are happy with the purchase and looking forward to our replacement. We also bought their wine fridge in conjunction and are satisfied with it as well! ... show more

  • Fantastic build quality, quiet and backed by amazing customer service
Color: Black12 Size: 24" Depth
With so many wine fridges out there, I did a lot of research at a wide range of price points and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The Highlights - Great features - Surprisingly great built quality - Quiet - Efficient - Customer service that's about as good as it gets Details - Customer service - Before purchasing the fridge, I reached out to customer service with a few questions and to my surprise, I got a real human who was incredibly helpful and even followed up via email. - Amazon doesn't follow directions but Tylza was there to help - Unfortunately, when the fridge arrived, Amazon had ignored the big "Do not lay flat" on the side of the box and it was lying on its back with a bunch of damage to the box. I refused to take delivery and while Amazon couldn't have been less helpful (refusing to replace it and forcing me to place a new order) I was again able to reach out directly to Tylza and Lisa helped me figure out the best solution. To be clear, this was 100% Amazon's fault and Tylza was fantastic! - Build quality - Unlike some lower cost wine fridges, the shelves in this unit are on high quality slides (not simply sliding on plastic) that operate smoothly and feel sturdy. In fact, they are plenty sturdy to take out some shelves (they are easily removable) and stack bigger bottles two layers deep. - The fit and finish of all the metal parts as well as the wood shelf faces is on par with much more expensive units. - Operation - The fridge is quiet! Even when the compressor is running you don't hear it above the noise of even your average quiet room. Much quieter than a regular refrigerator. I initially set the temperature to 55 degrees and it was down to temp in an hour or so. It also seems to hold it's temperature well with the compressor only coming on periodically for a short time. I placed two sensors in the fridge, at the top and bottom of the unit and with the temperature set to 53 degrees, the bottom of the fridge is at 52 and the top at 56 degrees. This gradient is to be expected and each has stayed consistent, not straying more than 2 degrees (which translates to almost nothing in the bottles). It's perfect to put your whites and more delicate wines on the bottom and use the gradient to your advantage with bolder reds moving towards the top. - A note about capacity - Like most people, I was concerned with fitting different size bottles and unfortunately, it is a challenge. To be clear, this is not an issue with Tylza or this fridge but with wine bottles in general and there is simply no way to make the rack spacing fit all bottles. The problem is exactly the same with a Eurocave or other fridge that uses shelves, at any price. With Pinot and other larger bottles, the storage space is pretty dramatically diminished and you do have to get creative. With a lot of larger bottles (pinot, CA bottles, champagne etc) I was able to fit about 160 which is just something you have to expect. On the up side, the shelves are spaced far enough apart to fit most bottles in a single layer and not have the shelf above rub on them. I've only had the fridge a short time but at this point I can say that I would recommend this fridge to anyone looking for a wine fridge with this capacity. Best of all, the customer service gives me confidence that if I ever do run into an issue or need a part / repair, they will be helpful in resolving it. Just buy it! ... show more

  • Great Dual zone beverage and wine cooler-Check it out
Color: Silver01 Size: 24" Depth
This dual zone beverage and wine cooler is moderately priced for the quality and features. It is a very nice design and looks great. The digital temperature readouts are easy to read and there are interior LED lights that makes searching for your beverage or wine at night that much easier, however the light button does not have any backlighting making the button hard to find in the dark. As long as you know it is a couple inches to the left of the temperature readout, you're OK. It would be just a little bit better if the backlighting was there to see the options. There are many units cheaper and many more expensive. I was looking for a split dual zone unit for beverages with a temperature to get as low as possible. I like my beverages ice cold. This unit says it cools to 35 degrees on the beverage side and it seems to usually be between 35-37 with a thermometer. I couldn't find any units in this price range that cooled less than 35 degrees. 33-34 would have been ideal. Many others I was considering had their lowest temperature at 36-38, so this unit won on that feature. The wine side cools as the setting shows. It also has nice wooden wine shelves that slide out and hold enough wine for my needs. The beverage side has stable glass shelves that can also slide out and you can arrange to adjust the height of the cans or bottles to be stored. The unit took a few weeks to be delivered, but it arrived packed and protected with professional quality. I previously tried to purchase another model from a local big box store, but they shipped me 2 units that had to be returned due to several dents and dings. I was happy to see no dents or dings in this unit when it arrived. Now that I’ve given you a good overall review of the unit, I would also like to mention that when we received the cooler, the fan was very loud and somewhat annoying. It turned on often and ran for 12-20 minutes at a time. I contacted the customer service and over the next several weeks, Mark was able to assist in shipping me two different replacement fans and emailed a video instruction on how to replace it. The second fan set was a newer model fan runs quieter and so far, we are very pleased. The customer service at Itylza was both personable and professional. Mark seemed very sincere in his commitment to resolve this issue and stay in touch. ... show more

  • Attractive, good value
Color: Black09 Size: 24" Depth
Love, love, love, this beverage fridge! This is great in our house because I get my wine on my side and he gets his beer and drink mixers on his side. It's a win-win! It's quite, has a nice light on the inside, and runs like a champ. It's great that each side has its own temperature control. I do wish the shelves pulled out smoother and further, however, at this price point, this is expected and I can deal with it. We had no issues with shipping or the seller. We would purchase this product again. ... show more

  • Echoing other reviews: World Class Customer Service
Color: Silver07 Size: 24" Depth
I'll admit, I was a bit reticent before ordering this unit based on some of the other reviews mentioning shipping damage and defective units, but the unit seemed to be good value for the money, so I took the plunge and ordered it. I must say, I'm completely satistfied. The unit did arrive with some shipping damage to the outer box, but it didn't look catastrophic, and I wasn't home when the shipper left it on my doorstep, so I decided to open it. The unit appeared undamaged - like the packing material had done its job - so I let it rest for a day before plugging it in. (I don't know if this is required anymore, but I remember a time when refrigerators needed to sit after being moved so the oil in the compressor could settle down, so I did it any way. The unit powered up without any problems and has been working flawlessly since. One item to note: the door is not spring loaded, and if you slam it shut, it may "bounce" open slightly, so a gentle touch is recommended. This brings me to another point: the incredibly proactive customer service. About a day or two after the unit arrived, I received a message from the manufacturer looking to confirm that everything was ok with the unit and that I was satisfied. When I mentioned the packing box damage and my comments (above) on the door, they were very prompt in offering a suggestion both to help with the door issue as well as offering to extend the warranty for another year for peace of mind. In a time when many companies really couldn't care any less about the consumer since they have so much business, it's incredibly refreshing to work with a company like Tylza. They didn't have to reach out even before the mention of a problem, didn't have to offer the extended warranty and certainly didn't have to follow up (again) to make sure that their suggested technique to help with the door closing issue made it better. The product is great - been about two months now without a hiccup - but honestly, the customer service is even better. I have no doubt that if any prospective purchaser had an issue, the manufacturer would be very proactive in resolving it! ... show more

  • An okay wine cabinet, but not great…
Color: Black12 Size: 24" Depth
UPDATE 12/23/23: After living with this cabinet for a number of months, I wanted to update my review. I’ve lowered the rating to one star. It’s actually a fairly terrible cabinet from a use standpoint. Literally almost all of my wine bottle labels are now torn or gouged. It’s incredibly difficult to get bottles out of the racking if most of your bottles are anything but the smallest size. They fit but you find yourself wrestling with the shelves to figure out how to get a bottle out. In many cases, trying to pull out a bottle will end up moving multiple shelves, and ultimately damaging the label. We’ve also had an issue with the sides of the shelves being such a bad design that if you’re not really careful, it’s easy for a bottle to roll off the shelf and hit the ground. Who doesn’t like a $100 broken bottle of wine. This could’ve been a decent cabinet, poor temperature regulation aside, but the racking is just terrible. We plan to buy another cabinet ASAP and sell the thing on craigslist with full disclosure. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste the money on this junk. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We ordered this wine cabinet to replace a Transtherm unit that we had for almost 20 years. We were kind of under the gun because the other one died suddenly and we had way too much wine that needed a home quickly. This unit is fine for basic wine storage, but it has a couple major flaws that would keep me from buying another one. First, they did a bad job of spacing the racking. They tried to maximize the number of bottles at the expense of the utility of what types of bottles could be stored. Anything bigger than a traditional bottle is barely going to fit, and, you will probably have an issue with the labels being torn by the wire racking from the shelf above the bottle. If they had simply left out one shelf and spaced things out better, it would’ve been infinitely better. Kind of a design fail. The other issue has to do with temperature regulation, which other reviews have commented on. I have a separate temperature and humidity checker that sits on one of the shelves and this unit pretty much has a temperature variation of about 5 or 6 degrees, multiple times a day. So on average, your temperature will stay approximately where you set it but the highs and lows of a given day are going to be fairly extreme. What this means is this is not your wine cabinet if you’re trying to cellar expensive wines. It’s fine for keeping your basic under $50 type wines good long enough for you to drink it over the next year or two. But if you’re laying something down for 10+ years this is definitely not your cabinet. Would I buy it again? Probably not. It’s not a bad cabinet, but it’s not really good either. ... show more
