I wasn’t expecting too much from this mattress considering it’s from amazon, but let me tell you I underestimated it! I went to IKEA originally trying to find a medium firm mattress, but the prices were out of my budget, thus why I came looking on amazon. I was a bit skeptical but I took the risk and i’m glad I did because it exceeded my expectations tremendously. It comes tightly packed up/compressed but once you finishing unwrapping it it immediately inflates. It fit perfectly on my queen size bed, and it is good quality. It is extremely comfortable so youre definitely getting a bang for your buck. It also didn’t come with any weird smells.

For a mattress in a box, I have zero complaints. However if you’re looking for a firmer mattress, this may not be for you. We thought this would be a medium firm but it’s pretty soft as far as give. Otherwise it’s very comfortable

This mattress is fantastic and exceeded my expectations. It is well made, with quality materials and was very easy to install. Inflated to the correct 12" thickness instantly. It is supremely comfortable no matter what position I'm in and I have been getting much better sleep and awaking pain free. As someone who deals with arthritis, sciatica and fibromyalgia, along with old back and knee injuries, this says a lot. I can't believe that I got this amazing mattress for this low price. I could not be happier with my purchase. If I had 5 bedrooms I would get one for each. Truly impressed. Highly recommend!

I bought this to replace my old medium-firm foam mattress that was giving me back and leg issues. It inflated to the full 8" almost immediately after I cut into the bag, like one of those self inflating balloons. Gave me quite a surprise! I let it rest on the floor for a while anyway. My husband sat on it and sank down to the floor. I did not (at 140lbs), but I could certainly feel all the springs (yes, I had it right side up, there is definitely a right and a wrong side). The 3" topper I had for the old mattress makes it sleepable, but it's unfortunately a much softer mattress than I was hoping for, and climbing in and out of bed is a squishy struggle. Leg issues are still unresolved. I will have to keep looking.

I normally don’t take time to write reviews-even if I have a negative experience but this is a huge safety issue that I feel compelled to share here. This mattress is impressively tightly wound. Like, wow, hats off to the machine that wraps up a spring mattress and rolls it like that! However, there should absolutely be some huge warning signs all over the wrapping stating that this mattress will SPRING OUT and KNOCK YOU OVER. I was entirely caught off guard, and that last little plastic bit that I cut…the mattress felt like it exploded, spring outward instantly and it knocked me in the shoulder and head and I fell onto my stone fireplace mantle. Knocked the wind out of me. It’s been five days and my shoulder is actually injured. There should be some serious signs and labels ALL OVER this product stating to be careful while unpacking it. Honestly I’m considering consulting with a lawyer because it’s a major safety issue (and trust me, I’m not some blue haired liberal, ready to sue anyone for a quick buck. That’s not me). But I’ve never had an experience like this where a package knocked me over and caused injury. I am in my first trimester as well and about to go in for our first ultrasound. Praying everything is ok. Buyer-PLEASE PLEASE be careful when you unwrap this mattress.
