For a mattress in a box, I have zero complaints. However if you’re looking for a firmer mattress, this may not be for you. We thought this would be a medium firm but it’s pretty soft as far as give. Otherwise it’s very comfortable

I bought this to replace my old medium-firm foam mattress that was giving me back and leg issues. It inflated to the full 8" almost immediately after I cut into the bag, like one of those self inflating balloons. Gave me quite a surprise! I let it rest on the floor for a while anyway. My husband sat on it and sank down to the floor. I did not (at 140lbs), but I could certainly feel all the springs (yes, I had it right side up, there is definitely a right and a wrong side). The 3" topper I had for the old mattress makes it sleepable, but it's unfortunately a much softer mattress than I was hoping for, and climbing in and out of bed is a squishy struggle. Leg issues are still unresolved. I will have to keep looking. ... show more
