This is a great product at a very reasonable price. The image is sharp and clear and the fact that you can shoot both video and still photos is a big plus. The stiff cable allows you move it in odd positions and it'll stand out even in a horizontal position. The tip camera is movable with a thumb controller and very simple to operate. This is a big help when you're trying to locate or pinpoint in a very tight more congested area .I have no regrets about buying mine and would recommend it to anyone who needs a gadget like this.

Are you a DIY Homeowner!?! Are your pipes clogged up and a plumber is offering to charge you $300 to stick a camera in your pipes to "assess" what the issue is? GREAT NEWS! There's options! Like getting your own borescope and doing it yourself. About a month ago our sewer drain started backing up and I was dumb and called a plumber because I just didn't want to deal with it. To stick a scope in my pipes and then use a hand-drill snake for literally 3 minutes, it cost us $300. The reason I decided to call a plumber is because I first thought "Well, I'll take the clean out cap off and stick a borescope in it" so I bought a cheap borescope off Amazon for like $60 @ 50ft. and tried to snake it into my drain to where the blockage was. It didn't happen, too many joints in the PVC piping meant it just kept getting stuck no matter what tricks I tried because of how far from the entry point it was, I just had no control over the head. In the end because I couldn't see what was going on, I was out the $60 for the cheap borescope and $300 for a plumber. After I got the sewer taken care of myself because the quote was insane, I decided to stock up on plumbing supplies so I never had to get robbed by a plumber again.....and let me tell you, I deeply wish that I had just spent the extra money and gotten this thing from the start. This borescopes ability to articulate the head of the snake is SUCH a game changer, despite knowing I was going to hate myself for it, I stuck this down the same entry point as my cheap borescope to see if I could get it past the points I was getting stuck at before and boom, zero issue right on in. Having an articulating head is a MUST. What makes it hurt even more is that this borescope has a NICER screen for viewing the camera image, a BIGGER screen, and the image quality in the pipe is better as well. I literally sacrificed on every single important feature to save $40 difference and now I have a useless first borescope purchase because this one makes my old borescope completely pointless. Now as I said before, I am not a plumber, I'm a homeowner, I've never used a borescope before this thing and I can tell you with confidence, operating these is incredibly easy and doesn't take a Master Plumber to figure out. Not planning on diving into sewage lines any time soon? Hey, if you're a DIY Homeowner like us, it's still useful for peeping inside drywall when you're trying to run electrical, and while I've never used it for automotive purposes, I could see the appeal there as well. This thing has a ton of flexibility in terms of it's use and features and I cannot stress this enough, don't cheap out and get a borescope that doesn't have an articulating head. Seriously, learn from my mistake.

So far, this borescope is working well. The lights have 4 levels (high, medium, low, off), and the end moves easily. The camera was clear in all light settings. So far, we've only gotten it to go up and down, but haven't fully explored how to go side to side yet, when it was easy to just rotate the main section sideways. The picture is clear, although at this time it's upside down on the monitor (there might be a setting for that), so we used it with the monitor upside down. Not a problem. The cable stays stiff, but is definitely bendable without too much force. With the cable being longer than a yardstick, that helps really get in there. This has been used to check if a tube had a blockage, around some hard to move stuff, and checking awkward areas. It hasn't been tested underwater yet. It moved from half charged to 3/4 charged in about 10 minutes. This comes in a nice travel case with handle, and was partially charged on arrival. It needs to be fully charged up, which is easy to do with a regular usb c cord (one is included if you don't already have a charging station set up). The case is covered in fabric, but seems sturdy enough to protect the borescope. It has a program to work in additional languages - that wasn't tried. Recording wasn't tried yet, either, but it's nice to know that is an option.

This borescope is all around excellent. The camera sensitivity is really impressive, when you point it at something up close you can see incredible amounts of detail. The two way articulation is where it really shows off, the ability to steer the camera head from the controller works astonishingly well and lands exactly where you point it. Integrated LED lights on the tip make sure you can see even in fully dark cavities. The 4.5" IPS screen is bright and sharp, and there's a timestamp on captured images plus an ambient temperature readout on screen which is handy for documenting inspections. The whole piece feels like solid mid tier build. Not super heavy duty industrial grade, but not cheap either. The red rubber control buttons are labeled clearly with icons and are easy to reach with your thumb while you hold the unit. It also comes in a hard shell case with a molded foam interior that holds everything in place, plus a mesh pouch inside for the accessory tips and the manual, which is a nicer package than I expected at this price. I don't have another borescope to compare this to head to head, but from what I can tell this would be great for any job where you need to see inside a wall or plumbing run. At $83 (at the time of this review) this is really good value for a tool that does this much. Highly recommend for anyone doing serious HVAC or plumbing work at home, or automotive inspection out in the shop.

I have the m12 Milwaukee boroscope that cost at least 3x as much as this. It doesn't hold a candle to the image quality, functionality, and flexibility of this thing. The fact that you can pull a lever on the front of this horoscope and the camera articulates through voodoo cable magic made me lose my mind the first time I unboxed this thing. It's super easy to use, the cable seems to be the right amount of stiffness to make it reach where it needs to, but not so tough to bend that it can't be adjusted within whatever cavity you're trying to see inside. I really like the feature to use an SD card as well to store images and videos, in case you miss something or need to show something you inspected to a customer you can download them from the device and into an email or upload to the cloud from your computer. For the price, I wish I had bough this instead of the Milwaukee M12. This is a far better value.

This is an amazing product! I love the camera on the tiny tiny scope so it can fit into tiny place! We have used it for many purposes and it has not failed us yet! It is an amazing quality for the price! The pictures are great! It is easy to use and the controls are pretty straight forward!
