I brought it work and using it on my breaks. Level 1 strength adjustment to outer connector on both ends has a resistance of about 60 lbs. One for each of the inner and outer connectors has resistance of 75 lbs. Inner connectors on both ends has resistance of 90 lbs. I have had this for a couple of weeks and have been wrestling with whether to give it three or four stars. On the plus side, it is a quality piece of equipment that should stand up to extended heavy use. No cheap plastic parts. It is also portable and can be used anywhere. It is light years better than many of the "toy" exercisers that are advertised on television. It is a serious piece of exercise equipment and can provide a strenuous work out. On the negative side, it comes with virtually no instructions on how to use it. There is a diagram which shows how to put the four pieces together, but that is fairly obvious without the diagram. What is more concerning is the fact that there was no information or suggestion about how to use the device. One can get the idea from the pictures on Amazon, but it would be better to have an instruction booklet included with the package. While the description says that the device is adjustable to three fitness levels, one is hard pressed to figure out how to do that. Again, some included instructions would have been helpful. There is also no discernible "intelligent knob" which is mentioned on the Amazon description as the way to adjust the tension level. One is left on one's own to try and figure things out. My final point is that this is not a piece of equipment for rank beginners. The tension level is rather high and would tend to discourage someone working out for the first time. For gym rats to fool around with in their spare time, it's great. My bottom line is that, with practice and regular use, this equipment can build and maintain strength, if one has patience. Given that, I'll assign four stars, but it was a close call.

It definitely gives you a good pump, but for prolonged use I can only use it pressing the outside handles together (which you already need a considerable amount of strength to do.) There isn't enough padding in the forearm pad to use it the intended way for an extended period of time, it's extremely uncomfortable.

My husband told me to order this for him and O M G he loves it!!!! uses it every time he works out, they are many ways to use it. He said to tell you people NO PAIN NO GAIN , He just had elbow surgery and it helps him ALOT!!!!!

I don't like that. There was not anything that came with this exercise tool that is very clear and Shows good directions on how to use it. I will change my review when somebody sends me how I can find good directions on the different exercises.
