It was expensive, gorgeous and perfect while it lasted, but it didn't last for long. I treated it with kid gloves, spot cleaning and walking barefoot on it, vaccuumed it gently. The microfiber underneath began to peel away from the fur and became a trip hazard on the corners and edges. It broke my heart but I had to replace it. My WHITE CAT was absolutely in love with this carpet. He laid on it day and night! Looked just like him and was that soft too. :) Perhaps it would have better in a less used space, but I bought the large rug for my living room and it just didn't hold up. So sad about it but I enjoyed it while I had it. :) There was no smell and I did lay it flat for a few days before using it so it could fully expand to it normal size after being vaccuum sealed. It was very expensive and I'm a fixed income so it was a hardhip for me to replace. Perhaps try a smaller version of this in your space and see if it works out before purchasing the larger size. ... show more

My kids like it but I honestly hate it! It's soft but is made like a faux rabbit skin fur coat & but the fur is very thin . I thought it was gonna be thick and fluffy so to speak but it's thin and I bet it's gonna look like crap after of a month or less walking on it . Doesn't look like the a.i pictures..I was wishful thinking . Never again will I buy a rug off the internet. Buy in person .
