These are great. It's natural mica so some flakes are more 'twinkling' than others, but I like the natural aspect of it. They are what I would consider to be small to medium flakes. Mica flakes are natures glitter. This stuff has a gorgeous organic glow, that really twinkles in candlelight. I bought it for natural material Christmas ornaments, and I’m in love!! I’ve been trying to reduce the amount of plastic waste I generate, so this fits my needs perfectly. If you need some color in your sparkle, put some in a small container and add a couple drops of alcohol ink & mix with a toothpick it to distribute, it works very well. ... show more

This is s perfect type of mica to refurbish vintage Christmas decorations such as cardboard houses or trees. Was perfect for my use. It could also be used to create your own shiny snow on crafts. It isn't glitter so don't expect it to look as silvery. Pressing it into a glue coating helps, but some will probably flake off through use. ... show more
