This foam is great for someone under 75 lbs. More than that and it's like it's not there. I wanted to replace a 20 yr old 2.5" memory foam pad on a guest room but this is less supportive. It just instantly squishes flat. I've let it expand 24 hours (I know it says 'up to' 72 hours is required to get full height) but it's not going to magically transform into a supportive pad in the next 2 days. I'll be sure to update if it does.. and I will wait until then to return it so there is no question. I've bought several mattresses and toppers over the years and after the first 24 hours, it is what it is. I bought this based on the vague positive reviews... now I realize they had no comparisons or details. If something changes I'll update here... but otherwise, it'll be heading back. :( Update: Slept on it a couple of nights, just isn't enough. I think 3" might be better. Maybe my expectations of what a 2-in foam topper can do were too high. It's not as bad to sleep on as I originally thought it would be. But it is inadequate for my needs. Sidenote: I have 2 types of mattress covers plus the fitted sheet, so that gives the top a little more tension so I don't sink in quite as bad. But, I can still tell the whole thing is just collapsing under the heaviest parts of me. Bottom line, better than nothing.. but I need 3" of denser foam.

Mi esposo llevaba bastante tiempo con dolor en los hombros y caderas que se le agudizaba en las noches cuando se volteaba de lado para dormir. Lleva dos noches durmiendo sin dolores... ademas que duerme de corrido cosa que no hacia hace mucho tiempo. Es super comodo y un material muy suave. Quiero añadir que no tiene ninguna clase de olor, ademas que trae un cover con zipper para que lo puedas lavar. Estamos tan encantado que ya pedi uno para mi. Gracias por ayudarnos a dormir mejor.

It all started when my husband purchased a 1999 camper. It was in splendid condition but quite unfashionable, requiring a substantial facelift. One of my schemes was to abolish the jackknife sofa and install a futon in its stead. After scouring the internet for ages for an economical yet comfortable futon that would fit faultlessly in the space that I had available I made the acquisition. It is not utilized persistently but it appeared to be adequate. On the maiden voyage of my son slumbering upon it, he had excruciating back pain. He was forlorn the whole weekend we were camping due to his back pain. (Being a millennial, he is apparently prone to back pain. Our camper happens to be at a hunting camp where he will sit in a tree stand for multiple hours a day, so a soft place to sleep is a highly coveted creature comfort. While he is a bit finicky, I don’t fault him for wanting to be cozy.) Since I am a thoughtful and caring mother, I decided to purchase a mattress topper to make his consequent stays in the camper more comfortable and more pleasant. He was quite skeptical about the capacity of a mattress topper to alleviate his suffering. The first night he dozed on the new topper, he woke up exhilarated, refreshed, and amazed that this bewildering, cloud-like mattress topper was so comfortable. This mattress topper was the perfect thickness to counteract the spine of the futon that runs down the center when it is open flat. The mattress topper folds up easily and fits beneath the queen size bed in the bedroom. We can now joyfully appreciate camping without having to listen to grumbling and complaining from our 22-year-old son. I beseech anyone to procure this mattress topper that is hoping to transform a lumpy or firm sleeping apparatus into a comfy and cozy bed.

Okay, it has been a couple of months since laying on this topper, which is supposed to be firm. Ha! I feel like the wife and I are now vampires. We lay in the coffins, not being able to move more than a few inches from this middle spot. Only thing, there is no door to the low-laying crypt. There is however a lump in the middle between the two of us that we don't visit. It is approximately three inches higher than where we lay our bodies to rest. So if I venture to the top of that hump, I could look down on her. Not near worth the money they wanted, might as well be filled with sand. As far as sending it back, how? It won't fit any box and I don't believe UPS will pick it up as is. But I don't recommend this product, unless you like sleeping in a gulley.

The media could not be loaded. This is very comfortable. I am very happy with it. It came with a safety opener thing. That easily slid along the plastic and opened it up. I love opening them up and watching them expand. We have a bunk bed trundle and the mattresses were not all that soft. So this added foam has been a huge help for comfort. Everyone is happier. And even though it is not a lot it adds enough comfort. We have been updating our bed over the last year and have tried even up to like 3-4 inches of foam and that was too hard. I thought more foam more soft. But that was not the case. We didn't keep because it was too hard. We have found since we like softness and comfort we are looking at the 1-2 inch range and for the twin mattresses this 2 inch was very nice! I did not notice any weird smell out of the box so that was great. And I really like the straps on each corner to connect to the bed and keep it in place. I am very happy and have one for each of the twin mattresses now.
