Bought this as a replacement for the thing my uncle was calling a mattress, had to be close to 30 years old. Very 1st night he slept on this new one, he thought he'd woke up in Heaven. I did notice a smell when I first took the plastic off, I can't say exactly how long it lingered due to not knowing if I had just got used to the smell, or if it dissipated on its own. I did seem to expand to its 10" in less than 24 hours, but I didn't put it on his bed until the suggested 72 hours. I would recommend.

I was a bit skeptical about a mattress being rolled up and shipped in a box. I was pleasantly surprised, 72 hours later, after it had time to morph back to it's original form, to find that this is the most comfortable mattress I have EVER slept on! It is firm, but not so firm that I don't feel it to be comforting. I sleep deep and well. THANK YOU!!!! I have been telling everyone I know how wonderful this mattress is! I will be buying a second one soon, for the trundle portion of my bed. I give this mattress a five star rating!!!!!! I highly recommend it!!!!!!

Bought this bed for my adult son’s former childhood bedroom. It was a great price and the thickness of this mattress is nice. The mattress inflated beautifully and seems comfortable. My biggest concern with buying a condensed mattress on line was side stability. The sales material claimed to and provided pictures of stabilized edges. The edges are reinforced on the upper part of the mattress, up to about where you would sit to get in or out. However, after that, the side and bottom edges are soft and you slide off it you try to sit anywhere on the end of the bed. I am waiting for a guest to test out sleep-ability. Gas the sides been reinforced all the way around, I would have given it five stars.

First time I have purchase one of these mattresses in a box. When with the 12 inch because I was nervous that the quality wouldn’t be that and would it expand to the full 12 inches. Expansions very quickly after opening it up. I didn’t notice any funny smells after opening. It is for my daughter that 11. Almost 5ft tall and about 85 pounds. Had a few months and no signs of sinking. Only think I noticed that I don’t like when I tried it out and tested it myself was that the edges of the mattress don’t seem as sturdy / firm as other mattress I have had in the past.
