This bed is easy to build. I did it completely by myself and it posed minimal challenges. (Mostly due to me not actually reading the instructions and just glancing at the booklet) It is made of metal and heavy. it seems very sturdy but it NEEDS to be anchored or it wobbles like crazy. The anchors that come with it are plastic so I don’t know how they will hold up. I will check on them regularly and replace them if they seem brittle. The guard rails could be higher I do worry about my son rolling out and the steps hurt to climb so I bought some padding. The space underneath is adequate for sitting and it increased the usability of the room.

My daughter's room is SO small and this loft bed is perfect for giving her extra space! She absolutely loves it and had a dance party with the lights to her favorite songs. All the pieces were there and assembly was pretty easy! I weigh 180 and I got up there to test it and it was definitely sturdy. I even put the small hanger bar on the inside instead of the outside so we could put it flat up against the wall. so that can go on either side. It's so pretty we got the white to match her room and it's really cute! I feel like I got a great deal because others were selling for well over 200 and some didn't have near as many features as this! So happy with my purchase and so is my daughter. I see us buying one for my son soon also!

Need two people to make assembly MUCH easier. Go slow as some of the holes do not line up at first, have a rubber mallet on hand to tap parts into place. Be careful not to cross thread the bolts, keep tapping the frame to get the bolts to line up. Don't try to screw the bolts in if they are at an angle! Some of the bolts need to be PRESSED into the tubes to get them to catch the threads. Once assembled we put the LED lights under the bed and have a computer workstation for two adults and two computers sitting side by side. The only real downside is making the bed. The side and end rails prevent you making the bed like you would normally do. The ends of the sheets need to be pulled down from the bottom a little at a time. It takes at least 15 minutes to change sheets as the rails are so tight against the mattress that you have to slowly force the sheets, stuffing from the top then reaching from the bottom to pull them down. On the stairs at the end of the bed I notched a 2x4 over the thin metal bars and then attached another 2x4 on the face of the steps to to tie it all together. It makes climbing the stairs far less painful on bare feet. Very sturdy and well built.

The assembly is very easy! I have no complaints there. The noise level is a bit shaky and the overall stabilization could be better. I also don’t think the ladder being so thin is a great idea; after repeated use, it can really hurt your feet. I do like the rounded corners idea.. if you bump into it accidentally, you’re less likely to get scratched or hurt. The build quality is okay. Nothing has happened to the middle of the frame so far, but I do feel it could be sturdier. I’m not entirely sure that the thin metal can truly support advertised pounds BUT that’s just my impression. The lights are a nice touch and I appreciate them. Overall the bed frame feels a bit on the weaker side but for now, it’s holding up.
