This loft bed is incredibly sturdy and well-built once it’s all put together. I was really impressed with how heavy duty the frame feels; there is virtually no wobble or shaking, which was my main concern with a high bed. My daughters each have one ages 11 and 13. Sorry for the poor photos but their rooms are messy at the moment. They LOVE sitting doing their schoolwork underneath it. I can sit in their computer chairs and have a foot to go under my head and I’m 6ft tall. Order some magnet stick up rechargeable LED’s for underneath. As far as assembly goes, it is relatively straightforward, but you definitely need some patience. The instructions are clear, but there are a lot of pieces and hardware to sort through. I highly recommend taking your time to lay everything out before you start, and having a second set of hands available makes handling the larger frame pieces much easier. Overall, it’s an excellent, space-saving bed that feels like it will last for years. Highly recommend! ... show more

Plan on spending several hours to assemble this. The assembly instructions were missing but the vendor emailed them by the very next morning so good on the customer support. Definitely anchor this to the wall as it is not heavy enough to prevent tipping. The instructions were detailed and called out specific hole patterns and features to be aware of. All parts were clearly marked but you will eventually need another person to help with assembly. Finally, make sure you check your ceiling height. It is a little close with 8ft ceilings, usable, but you won't be able to sit up without hitting your head. ... show more

Assembly wasn't fun. But the sense of accomplishment was great! It's an awesome bed, and kiddo loves it. Great space maximizer if you have high ceilings. Absolutely must be anchored to a wall, because the base isn't heavy enough to be safe otherwise. It tipped when I was testing the ladder... on that note, I LOVE that the ladder stairs have actual footholds and you're not barefooting a thin metal pole. No notes on durability yet, but I think it will be fine for my 10 year old. I wouldn't put myself on it though, static weight limits are not the same as a human climbing on and around lol ... show more

My son love love loves this bed. The space is wonderful and cool! It took a bit to put together but everything is self explanatory and easy to do. Had an issue with the LED light and contacted the seller and was sent over a replacement pretty quickly. Very happy with this buy

Twin Sized Loft Bed with Desk just as described and pictured. Was VERY hesitant about putting it together based on other reviews. 2 VERY detail-oriented women who know how to read instructions put this together with NO PROBLEMS!!! We took our time, so it did take us at least 3 hours, but we were it no rush, we wanted to make sure we did it correctly. All parts were PERFECTLY labeled and easy to find for construction. Seems to be pretty sturdy, this is for a child under 100 pounds. My daughter loves this bed especially the LED lights. ... show more

It took me about 3 days to build, just me myself and I(a 23 yo Female). The only thing I couldn’t do by myself was lift the mattress up. I have found it very durable. The desk is a comfortable height for me, I’m very impressed with the storage capacity, and it feels like tons of space going from a twin bed. I would say if you can build a LEGO set, then you can build this easily. It looks great, and I think it’s a fantastic value for the money. A few things: it is very dark in the desk space, even though the desk faces my window. I installed a second string of lights(aside from the one included) underneath the bed. I also chose to skip a step and not anchor my bed to the wall because I live in a rented space. It is still very stable and does not wiggle more than a normal frame. ... show more
