The 2-inch gel memory foam layer provides solid support, while the pillow-top layer adds a soft, cozy feel. Together, it hits a nice balance between firm and plush. Thickness & Functionality: Substantial without being bulky. Lifts the bed nicely, supports multiple sleeping positions, and the elastic skirt keeps it firmly in place. Rip Resistance: Feels durable and well-made. No tearing or fraying so far—looks like it could last multiple seasons. Seasonal Note: Since the topper is polyester rather than cotton, I plan to remove and store it once spring arrives. Polyester tends to trap heat and moisture against the skin, so it can feel warmer and sweatier than natural fibers like cotton. For cooler months, though, it’s perfect. Care: Pillow-top cover is removable and machine washable; memory foam layer is spot-clean only. Overall, a solid upgrade for anyone wanting extra support, height, and comfort. Just check your sheet fit—the bed is taller now—but otherwise, it’s a dependable, cozy addition for fall and winter sleep.
