This beautiful Twin Over Twin Stair Stepper Bed with 3 Drawers in White Finish is the best choice for your bedroom. This delightful set has been made to last for years to come. This bed set is Mattress Ready and Accommodates Eight Inch Mattress. Meets All ASTM and CPSC Specifications. An opaque white finish on solid wood can be finicky because solid pine wood is imperfect and white will expose imperfections to some degree. Pine has knots and a high resin content, which expands and contracts as all natural woods do. The solid wood used for the white finish furniture is carefully selected to make sure that the prevalence of knots is lower than with our standard stained finishes. With an opaque, white finish its expected to see discoloration in the finish where knots are located, as well as minor cracks here and there. Expect some minor touch up over time. To further stabilize the product, Discovery World Furniture uses MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) where they can in the non structural areas. MDF is the most stable material to use when painting white furniture. The overall appearance of the product is quite good and we successfully ship the product to happy customers daily. This makes Discovery World Furniture's white finish not a “solid wood” product, but in this case is a good thing!

I gave 5 stars to this product just because of seller's excellent customer service. I received a damaged part on the stair board. It was cracked as well. I had to find another piece of wood to stabilize the screw. It was not my best interest to return the whole bed since all the boxes were opened. I contacted the seller and Scott was able to offer me a fair partial refund. Reply was timely and professional. This bed is pretty, quite easy to assemble and my girls love the 7 draws !! We have been planning to re-do our kids' bedroom (new paint, carpet, etc.) for over a year, and this spring break was the time to do it. After searching for almost one year for the perfect bunk bed (with storage), I found this one, and we are incredibly happy with our purchase. Husband and I put it together last night, and it went well. Since we opted to put the dresser/stairs on the right side, we had extra steps in the process, which made following the directions a little more...complex. While the directions are totally decipherable, you need to rely on your critical thinking skills at times, lol. The bed and components are solid wood, and the finish is great (white). It seems to be very, very well-designed and well-made. This will eliminate the need for the old dressers we were using that took up so much floor space. Our daughters (ages 9 and 11) are so thrilled, and we are VERY pleased with our purchase! If you are considering this bed, rest assured that it is a quality piece of furniture...not "cheap" by any means at all! This one is even better than the ones we saw at Ashley Furniture and Rooms to Go...and THOSE beds were over $1500, and not as well made or aesthetically pleasing. We opted to put down an additional mattress support under the top bunk, strictly for aesthetics, and used this: Zinus Annemarie Solid Wood Bed Support Slats / Fabric-Covered / Bunkie Board, Twin. For just under $40, it provides a cleaner look under the top bunk, so the bottom of the mattress is not viewable. ... show more

It took about 4 hours for my 7-yr old daughter and I to assemble (she was so excited and really helped for a solid 4 hours). I like the sturdiness, the structure, that some parts preassembled, and the directions were pretty straightforward. It only took me a moment that when we chose the right side for the stairs we had to go back to the beginning of the directions to see steps in assembly. This was an awesome purchase for my girls! It was cheaper on amazon, good quality and so pretty! It was fairly easy to assemble—would have been a lot easier if we didn’t need to put the stairs on the right side (it comes assembled for left side of bed). I found 1 spot on it that was dented but everything else was great!! It even came earlier than it was supposed to 😊 No regrets with this purchase ... show more

Grandkids absolutely love the bed. We feel better because there are steps as opposed to a ladder. We like all the storage space/drawers and the instructions were sufficient and orderly and the small parts were sorted and laid out which made it super easy to get what you needed. I was on the verge of deducting one star, maybe two because the shipping company was difficult to deal with, missed their planned delivery dates and eventually lost the shipment. What saved the day was Discovery World Furniture's Customer Service. When they found out about the difficulties with shipping, they put us as their first priority and resolved the issue by sending us a new shipment the very next day. They said they'll deal with the claim on the shipping but our satisfaction was job one and they proved it. ... show more

Very nice set up. Fairly straight forward to assemble if you take your time. Packaged impeccably. Some minor manufacturing imperfections but that's to be expected at this price point. Great customer service. Removed a star because slats are were changed by mfr to black metal. They work great but I would have preferred wood slats or white ones. You can use an 8" mattress up top but I would suggest a 6" if you kid rolls around a lot. Overall if you need a stair bunk, you can't beat it. ... show more

Delivery says bed is expected today. The bed was delivered one week ago today and we got it together that afternoon. We love these beds. They look nice . Very pretty. Worth the money.
