I love my new AeroGarden Bounty Elite and the idea of having fresh garden grown vegetables all year. This system was so simple to set up and it even came with my first 9 Herb pods. After I snapped a few pieces together I was ready to plug in my AeroGarden. Once plugged in all I had to do was follow the on screen prompts such as setting the date and time and what kind of vegetable I was going to grow. After I filled it with water the pods were ready to be set into the AreoGarden. It was that easy. The garden does the rest until my plants start to grow. There is even a vacation mode that can be set in case I am away from my garden for a period of time. When vacation mode is set the system uses less light time, shortening the amount of water used. Making this a truly low maintenance garden. Once my garden has run its course, I can press the quick plant button and it will re start my system so that I can plant new pods. This garden has it all! There are so many functions on the touch screen base. My favorite is the Garden Tips. In case I need a little reminder the tips will help me. There is even a WiFi mode that I was able to connect to my cell phone. After I downloaded the AeroGarden App and connected the garden to my phone I was able to do everything right from my cell phone. The directions are easy to follow and there is even a help section if needed. This system is incredibly easy to operate and does everything for you. If you are looking to have fresh Herbs, Flowers or Vegetables year round then get the AeroGarden Bounty Elite. I’m currently growing a salsa garden in mine. Jalapeño, tomatoes, cilantro. In one of my other gardens I did bell peppers and had 2 come out of one pod so I transplanted one into a grow anything pod and now I have a 2nd bell pepper growing as well. ... show more

AeroGarden has mastered Gardening for Dummies. And that would be me. I have a black thumb when it comes to gardening or growing anything. But I’ve had great success with this garden. In fact, I love the garden so much, I bought a second one. I’ve got lettuce growing in one and tomatoes growing in the other. The gardens are simple to set up, simple to plant the seeds and simple to grow whatever you’ve planted. The display even reminds you when it’s time to add plant food and water. And the grow light turn on and off automatically based on what you are growing. And if you buy the AeroGarden seeds they are guaranteed to sprout. Definitely recommend this garden! ... show more

Easy to use and works nicely. I wish there was more info with the seed pods telling what to expect. After my first round with lettuce I found I start to get enough to use in salads after 6 weeks, it keeps improving, and by about 15 weeks it is going to seed. So for about 9 weeks we get nice salad greens. Now that I know the cycle, I got another Bounty Basic garden so I can start it after 7 weeks, and before the first goes to seed, the second will be producing. ... show more

Let me start with the good, the Aerogarden is easy to use and has produced more basil and dill weed than I know what to do with. The bad, if you buy the seed pods they are not packed well leading to a lot of dead pods. You can only count on a 50% or less active seed pods. Tomatoes, Thyme, Chives, I am on my second round none of these even yielded even a root. You could see a tiny bud at the top on a couple better in 6-8 weeks nothing else ever happened. Bottomline if you are willing to pay a lot of money for the pods it is worth it. Just plan on if you get 12 you will be very lucky to have 4-6 sprout. ... show more
